I play keys, guitars, bass, ukelele, drums, and a little bit of flute. Keys are my primary instrument because of the infinite sonic possibilities it offers compared to other instruments. I’ve been way more creative with making music with keys vs playing other instruments.

Music mostly. I listen to a huge spectrum of genres from prog rock to metal, r&b, acid jazz, dubstep, kpop, and more.

It’s not the phone, it’s your age bracket. You can say the same thing for other stuff like shoes/clothes, cars, etc. It’s peer/societal pressure, FOMO, and other factors that teenagers and young adults feel are important. People care less when they get older. My iphone is a utility device to me, and I’ll keep using it until it dies or security updates stop, instead of upgrading every year.

I installed Mint on an old laptop and had sound issues with external speakers. Spent 30 mins trouble shooting until I realized there was something with the port that if you fully pushed in the aux cable, it went in too much and the contacts don’t fully meet. There was a sweet spot where the cord is plugged in correctly but not pushed in too much.

Ah I see, cool. Well either way, if you like Nujabes, Primary would probably be up your alley too.

I’m gonna take a wild guess that your friend played a song by Primary. He’s a hiphop/r&b producer who collaborates with other artists to sing on his songs, similar to what Nujabes did. Maybe try checking him out.

But yeah, usually the good kpop songs aren’t the ones being played in mainstream media. I think you’ll also have a better time listening to kr&b artists.

Basically Mamamoo and Kiss of Life lean more into r&b. Dig deeper into BTS’ discography and you’ll find great r&b songs.

And of course, you can just go straight to kr&b which is a whole different world. Artists like Dean, Heize, DPR, BIBI, and Tabber to name a few; with the latter two having the best overall discographies IMO.

Depends on the group really, especially with the explosion of so many of them. I tend to prefer the ones who have r&b-influenced music.

King Gnu. They’re known for their songs used in anime, but they have more great songs outside of that.

I’ve seen the first episode but haven’t had the chance to continue yet. Is it really good? All I know is I saw a meme where this and The Summer Hikaru died are peak gay anime. The latter I’ve been watching week to week.

Berserk would probably be at that level as well.

We visited DC in the fall last year. It took us close to 2 hours to walk from the Washington Monument to the Lincoln Memorial statue because my wife was taking pictures of all the trees along the way.
