Is over a week normal? I get that Loops may be taking a lot of admin bandwidth, but I still haven’t heard anything back.

They seem to be mostly ignoring pixelfed while launching loops. You could always just join a different server. There’s a list on pixelfed.org.
I just applied last night and nothing yet.
