My man just went for as many books as possible.

Edit: To answer the question, maybe this was one of those libraries holding pornographic filth?

It’s a legit fediverse software for sharing music. I don’t know anything about specific instances though.
New posts and comments should always propagate if at least one user is subscribed to the community. Otherwise not.
For old content:
by a misguided fool
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_starling
As part of a nationwide effort, about 60 common starlings were released in 1890 into New York’s Central Park by Eugene Schieffelin, president of the American Acclimatization Society. It has been widely reported that he had tried to introduce every bird species mentioned in the works of William Shakespeare into North America, but this claim has been traced to an essay in 1948 by naturalist Edwin Way Teale, whose notes appear to indicate that it was speculation.
Yeah, that seems somewhat misguided.
I have no clue what happens on mastodon, but on lemmy all interpretation is done on the client.
You can always tell when a post gets shared in mastodon.
The old design was like this
I liked the shape a lot. I have doubts in HMD’s ability to make a decent phone, but at least it should feel great in hand.
I’m all for consumer protection, but I don’t think demanding new hardware for free is reasonable at all. Making them easily available and replaceable would be.
It’s hard to trust software that places this little trust on me.
So it’s an emoji-themed soundboard for phone calls. Why would anyone want this?

It does, but the ui isn’t really designed around that. I draw in krita and edit images in gimp. Doing it the other way would suck for both uses.

Krita is more of a painting program.
Since it is not planned to crawl federated instances community catalog
Isn’t that issue about crawling content?
Also, the devs have mentioned fetching community lists before, unless I remember wrong.
I try to reserve downvotes for bad faith commenters, though I downvoted some of the ai generated jeans spammers too when that started to get real old.
I got kind of excited about the mention of the “social” aspect, but it turned out a bit nonexistent. Funkwhale seems to be just a way to set up a file sharing site for music.
Ok, guess I finally have to check out what it’s exactly about, then.
Hey don’t say I didn’t warn you, it says “pornographic filth” right there
