Provided we are talking about taxation not guillotines, it’s that really a problem? In Norway, a doctor doesn’t earn much more than a train ticket seller.
“Why study medicine”, you ask? “Self actualisation.” Is their answer. Remember, University is free in that system, so no student debt.
It could be argued that people are AGI. Are they always trustworthy?
The latest first aid guidelines in Australia say to do EAR, but my employer’s training was to use a non rebreather and oxygen therapy with no breaths. Maybe that’s an advanced resuscitation thing. I think it dropping breaths happened during Covid.
A recent heart attack I was at where I worked on the patient with the ambulance (outside of work) also didn’t do breaths.

I’m going to leave this up as the question is not against the rules. However any suggestion of violence against any people will not be tolerated.

I’ve noticed a significant change in my Facebook feed recently. It’s almost all content creator content now, which I’m taking as a sign that my network is no longer posting there.
We’ve had a couple of reports about this post, but I’m going to let it slide for the moment because the discussion seems mostly respectful. Let’s keep it polite though please.

Any plans to move !asklemmy@lemmy.world to another instance?
No. What would be the point? There’s already one on .ml, and another one I’ve seen on a smaller instance.
Still a bit surprised you guys don’t have discussions regarding the community, that’s usually how we do it in the ones I mod, but you do you.
We do. Periodically we get the community involved in deciding the rules. Rule 6 was recently introduced after a community poll.
