There’s a wikipedia article going in depth, also their website. Also some of their story on the wrapper itself

I prefer things work, I don’t care if it’s ugly
nice, those are great
Security, yes. Let’s hope there aren’t nay cve’s found in it. ui… meh, I’ve had the same style dailer for over a decade
Oh right, only a matter of time before google makes android even less backwards compatible. To be fair tho, there’s not much about a dailer to be updated
Tony Chocoloney!
Literally the only one to my knowledge that actually goes out to ensure they’re not just being lied to. They are also open about the fact that even though they do their best, they can’t absolutely guarantee they’re 100% slave free.
Orgs like “fair trade” for example just take the word of producers. It’s happened that a tv crew went out to visit one of their farms only to find child slaves at work.
The stupid thing is that the aosp dailer is great
Possibly. But what google and apple made are not that
In my understanding, a language is a way to encode information to be decoded elsewhere. Those can be English words or computer instructions.
Yep, they’re not languages anyways. Whatever it technically is, whomever decided to call it a language has got their head up their butt
According to my American gf: being a decent human being
I will try this out! That looks handy!
Why tho? Isn’t the opposite a better idea?
That makes sense to have in the back, not right next to the feature
I personally run an older build of emby, the open source software jellyfin was forked from. It’s very similar, but I found emby’s video transcoding (or explicit not transcoding) to be more reliable
You’d have to look up the manual specific to your device, just google 'm. Generally it’s right next to the explanation about the feature where it tells you it’s not suitable for using it to collect health data for any purpose other than that it’s fun
I mean what I said. There’s a reason it’s in their manual. And it’s not in the back of the “legally cover our butts’” section. It’s right next to the description of the feature itself
That is more detail than I went into
