Can confirm, I am a windows user and if my laptop came with Linux preinstalled, the way it had windows preinstalled, I’d be a Linux user.
If I ever have to Google what the hell a kernel is then I have read everything else available on the internet.

So people who live in Washington DC can vote for President. D.C. has 3 electoral college votes. Puerto Rico does not have any electoral votes. (They do hold primaries that also don’t seem to really count).
DC does lack full voting representation in Congress just like US territories (e.x. Puerto Rico, Samoa, Guam). I do think their delegate can vote on some things in congress, I don’t remember the details of what, but it’s definitely not a full congressional vote.
I have had some involvement in very similar rifle shooting and there is obviously crossovers with pistol shooting. Honestly the fact that you consider those glasses a “gray area” of cheating made me snort laugh. No one in that sport would consider that even close to cheating. Full stop. I’m not trying to be rude but you clearly know nothing about this sport. Those glasses are ubiquitous in many types of competitive shooting at this level especially air pistol/rifle.
In fact if you think this is cheating you need to see what rifle shooters wear because those rules allow way more gear (including your “grey area” glasses).
Also you don’t need something tied to your finger to feel your heart rate…You can clearly see your heart rate in your sights (yes, even irons). It could be a counter balance if it was measured perfectly but that’s risky because if her stance changed at all it could pull her off. I’m honestly surprised her coaches let her risk having that thing at all. It looks like a liability to me.
Edit: I just went back and looked a d there’s no way that things a counter weight. It would need to be close to the weight of that pistol to be helpful. Air pistols are light but they aren’t “stuffy” light.
So it would only have been aninconvenience once every 2 weeks? Or you could have adjusted your grocery shopping to your situation…or gotten a wheeled cart…or any number of things.
I’ve lived in multiple 3rd floor walk-ups and I loved it (with a dog that had to go out regularly). If you have a physical limitation that prevents doing stairs it would be a nightmare and moving in and out isn’t great. Otherwise it’s really not bad, a tiny bit of exercise isn’t going to hurt an otherwise healthy adult.
DnD is definitely one of those hobbies where each table is different and (as long as no one is being hurt) none of them are wrong. The toxicity some people bring to the table can scare away newer people entirely and that sucks for everyone. Less DnD people means we all get to play less DnD.
For a woman who wrote “it matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be.” She seems awful fucking concerned with what categroies people were born into.
If only there was an epic saga about the conquering power of love over bigotry that she could read. Maybe one involving a boy who lives or some fantastic magical beasts?
comming
It’s a typo of coming. As in the word “come” or “to arrive”.
Just recently learned CFOP from someone (still really slow at it) and it’s a great fidget. I use it during a few of my more droning zoom meetings and it makes me feel like I’m doing something semi productive while I fidget.
Can you share the area of study?
You clearly just don’t understand manufacturing. They’d still be willing to fire you and make us use a paper and pencil. In fact if the techs that important then no it isn’t because they don’t trust it, and we’re keeping paper backups anyway.
I know that because youre in tech you think you can “out smart” the guy who can build a house with a paper and pencil, but I promise that you aren’t half as clever as you think you are.
Manufacturing, not a ton of behind the desk work required. What little office work is required is still often done on paper or on very manual entry heavy basic excel sheets.
I dont know why tech people always forget non tech jobs still exist. You definetely wouldn’t get paid for just sitting in a chair unless you’ve cracked industrial line automation in a way that should have already made you a billionaire. Still more automation of any kind would also be a good thing in a lot of plants.
I work with people who have no email and use flip phones. Knowing how to do basic formulas in excel is something people in my industry put on resumes as a brag. I blew minds with a pivot table last week.
Then tech people will come in like “if you dont c38÷<#æ&÷>h§tg your &÷8]ă2& on your ejẅińë6÷&7g/g5 then youre stupid and support facism, you dumb corporate apologist with your basic windows platform.”
Or at least that’s what lemme feels like sometimes.
English spelling is weird but thats not really a hard word to spell compared to many others. Epitome is either an e or an i, and I would argue a native speaker would lean heavily towards e as a first guess. There is no way that it starts with a, o, or u for example. That’s hardly “every vowel”. It’s at most 2 vowels and most people would have better than even odds if they heard epitome pronounced correctly.
For those curious, it does appear that megatokyo may be getting updates but they’re infrequent, a few a month and not on a set schedule. There are like 9 chapters out now though.
I pay $5 a year for dropout even though I don’t watch all of their content enough to probably warrant it some months. I tend to binge D20 and Um, actually mostly. But they’re a good company, making good content, and trying not to exploit anyone in the process. We need more of that and I’ve been lucky enough I can afford the $5 a month sub.
Jerry Lee Lewis became fairly successful in Country after his Rock career faltered. Most country musicians still play the guitar rather than the piano though.
Because I’m dumb, do you mean macarons? Or do you actually flavor your macaroons? If you do what flavors do you recommend for them? I assume something tropical to go with the coconut?
The list also assumes that you’ll have children which isn’t really on the cards for some people (voluntary or involuntary) and cuts out the possibility of doing a huge chunk of that list.
…everyone’s point isn’t “wow you suck for having only 10k in savings”. Everyone calling out the OP is saying “in my country/area cost of living is very high and with 10K in savings I would be in a bit of a panic”.
Also telling people to “get educated” while they react to the US cost of living being out of control just makes you sound like a dick.
This is going to really depend on the state, but no most do not require any appliances be provided. California does not require a fridge to consider the property “livable” so I doubt not providing a washer and dryer would make a rental “unlivable” in most US states.
