The whole section between the takemura junkyard cutscene and waking up in your appartment doesn’t allow saving, however iirc when the game came out it was the ENTIRE heist sequence once you got to yorinobus room.

Mechwarrior Living Legends is a mod for crisis that builds a compltely new game ontop of it and had a thriving multiplayer community for many years (not sure how activity is these days)

Agreed, a lot of sci-fi infastructure is technically feasable its just the logistics and our lack of organisation as a species that gets in the way. We could also technically start on a dyson swarm and a lunar space elevator (not an earth one though) with modern technology and materials.

It occurs to me that generally speaking, the majority of people are good and don’t try to accumulate power beyond their needs, while bad people are few but accumulate as much power as possible across multiple generations. Perhaps the half-life of a given empire or civilization is just how long it takes the few to accumulate enough power to fuck everything and cause a reset.

Super hearing, to the point of echolocation (Which apparently some blind people can actually do in a very basic form as a learned skill!?)

I found this guide which seems very comprehensive but has a few sections where it assumes knowledge I don’t have and doesn’t suggest a clear route by which to gain said knowledge.
For the section just following “Grab the content of SmolLM2 1.7B Instruct” I assume it boils down to run this prior program called MSYS and run this command through it? “GIT_LFS_SKIP_SMUDGE=1 git clone https://huggingface.co/HuggingFaceTB/SmolLM2-1.7B-Instruct”

The UK? not sketchy?

I was tempted to do a ‘Every person on lemmy is a bot except you’ before realising that the bots have taken that kind of post from us as well.
Edit: Come to think of it the way bots work is kind of like an automated version of how big companies used to kill memes by using them in their marketing to try and seem trendy. Murdering internet culture automatically by washing it out with repeated garbage.

Str: 11 (I work out a couple times a week and go on 2 walks a day which is more than most people)
Dex: 10 (idk so I assume average)
Con: 10 (see above)
Int: 8 (I have some memory problems)
Wis: 11 (I figured out how to learn things and get a tech job despite the above)
Cha: Are negative numbers allowed?
Aren’t like half of those bullet points positives? Also in addition to what you said once you got a tree you got a tree, those tanks need constant maintenence and cycling which I doubt anyone is going to bother with for more than a year after installing them.
I believe a fair number of juristictions also invalidate any EULA that’s only viewable after you’ve purchased a product so most software EULAs are worth less than toilet paper anyway.

English and Japanese (I don’t speak much Japanese at all but I know these specific word!)

The UK under Thatcher utterly anihilated its own manufacturing sector at a huge longterm economic detriment seemingly just to destroy labour unions.

There are some simple steps:

Simpsons itself has had multiple scenes cut out of episodes that are now really hard to find, in the worst cases it can be the entire end of an episode. The one that really sticks out is a scene where a celebrity ges jumped by cletus and a bunch of other rednecks and brutally shot to death with a lot of gore, the episode later got censored to end when cletus points a shotgun at him and eventually cut out the scene entierly making the episode rather abrupt.
Definetaly a 1 here, I knew some people were a 5 but I always assumed that 1 is the norm.
When do we stop hearing the damn things? (27 here)
Diagram on that last one? the apple not appearing like it does in real life sounds weird to me.
“But if you’re invisible… how do you know where your feet are going to land exactly? How do you know how far your arm is from that book you’re trying to pick up?”
We do have a specific sense for where our body parts are relative to eachother and most people can stand or walk perfectly fine with their eyes closed. So what you’re describing as a neccesary secondary superpower is something most people already have. Could be a little clumsy at first but I imagine you’d get the hang of it pretty quickly considering how functional blind people can be.
