If I remember correctly deepin which is the popular distro uses their own store of appimage files. That may have something to do with it

Sadly there are many people in the open source community who don’t care, to them if the software is good then it doesn’t matter who the artist is.

Specifically with the Linux community I feel like it’s half queer people and half middle aged men and the other half often doesn’t care and likely lean right wing or libertarian anyway.

That’s my opinion at least. Tons of people still use and recommend Proton even though its founder and owner is toxic and harmful to queer people as well.

Definitely, no way the git doesn’t have info on how to build it from source or at least a Deb package download. I assume it’s people who are annoyed their distro doesn’t have that software in the repos but it’s on flathub.

Copyleft is the true path

As someone who uses openSUSE, this is great I love it.

openSUSE tumbleweed changed to using it and I think it works well.
