I started on Unix systems using Vim, so I find Nano to be the confusing editor. A Vim install is one of the first things I do on a new server.

When I was growing up, one of the first questions someone would ask a kid was what team they supported, and not even if they liked football in the first place. So I guess I was in a big minority there.
Luckily there doesn’t seem to be any large desire in the general population to move away from the NHS. Even the most conservative people I know support it (and I live in a pretty conservative area).
Some of our political parties however seem to pretend like they support it while quietly trying to undermine it. Let’s see what Labour do in the coming years.
When I first started my job, a coworker set me up with a machine running NixOS. I gave it a year before I binned it for Ubuntu. I just… didn’t see the point? The troubleshooting wasted so much of my time for seemingly no benefit.
I get bad short thoughts about how I could easily end so many personal relationships with a quick random punch to the face. Pick the right person and you could be ostracised from your whole family.

I’ve said for a while that platforms that allow you to easily move make me more comfortable using them, and ironically, more likely to stay around.
