  • Not a plane crash, but a decade or more ago there was a fiery crash with a train hauling fuel through an urban area at an intersection I drove through about 3 hours earlier. I was 2-3 miles away at the hospital working with the crash happened, several dead, although I forget the exact number. We had the amounts of rain that day and that parts of the track were getting submerged and the train hydroplaned.

Also had a school shooting happen at Cole Hall the same day I had class, I think it was the class after mine that day, maybe 2 classes later

  • Honestly I don’t think any of this has an end game. If they were not able to continue using immigration as a scare tactic then they’ve lost the main weapon in their arsenal. They don’t ever want the " immigration" problem solved because it’s what keeps them in office.

This is all theater it will fail, it was never intended to succeed. when they lose power they will use it and say that Democrats somehow ruined it for them.

  • So I would say no, except over the last 4-5 years, without fail, every winter we would run into furnace issues that it first were kind of an easy quick fix and just kind of a pain but then over time got to the point where even after replacing relays and a few other parts it still wasn’t operating properly, and finally died on us. We had a home warranty at first, and they would send out someone who would get it working for maybe another 3-6 months but after 3 years we got rid of it because they refused to ever actually replace anything. Finally on the 4th winter, the furnace went and never came back. Ended up replacing the HVAC units and upgrading a bit, and it’s been great. Even with higher utility prices we’re paying significantly less on electrical and gas bills and no issues.
