You mean the SSD chipset, or the does the enclosure have a chipset, too?
The M.2 enclosure I have gets extremely hot during periods of extended use like installing an OS or transferring large amounts of data. Not sure if it’s a problem with other enclosures, but it’s something to consider.

Weird, when I view it the picture is already there, I don’t have to click anything. I’m guessing it’s a federation thing since we’re from different instances. Does the ! at the beginning embed it for all instances instead of just my home instance? Like, is this one embedded for you?
Where’s the Walmart?! Where are the billboards?! I don’t even see a gas station!
Most of the parts for my last 2 builds have been from Micro Center, but if I’m just buying one or two components I hit up my local Best Buy first, and then Newegg if Best Buy doesn’t have what I want.
Also using Memmy. Every now and then I find a bug, but they end up getting patched pretty quickly. I used Apollo before I dropped Reddit, and Memmy feels familiar.

You want me to link posts that the mods removed? That seems like an unrealistic expectation. You could always check the post pinned to the top of lemmyshitpost where they describe the recent problems, but I suspect you didn’t ask for proof in good faith
Considering all the alt-right garbage that was popping up there the last couple of days this seems at least plausible. I sometimes envy their ability to utterly destroy anything they touch.
I worked in retail until 2016, and a few years before I left they switched all the PoS registers to Linux.
