Same. I keep hearing folks mention this but it’s not like AI developers aren’t aware of this (apart from a bunch of shitty startups that would fail no matter what) One way to deal with it for example is Microsoft is shelling out so much for “pre-AI” datasets (Reddit) but I’m sure there’s a lot more of those kinds of initiatives.
Google on the other hand is going to be hard pressed to deal with the ever increasing deluge of AI spam.
They just said it is optimized for gaming and has a toggle to “optimize the CPU drive”… Can’t wait for this technological marvel.
Take a break from social media and the 24 hour news cycle. Join a political action group if you feel the need, being with like-minded folks can help and you might make a difference. But otherwise sitting home and obsessing over everything that’s wrong with the world will just drive you nuts.
It depends, if you’re worried better to talk to a doctor than ask random internet users. I think anyone who reflects on life can probably relate to the feeling, but there are definitely physical and mental conditions that can have this as a symptom.
One of the things I heard (again speaking as a non-doctor internet rando) is that the time to be concerned is if it appears involuntarily and impacts your daily life. For example, you’re at work and suddenly this thought takes over, and you can not just shake it off and get back to what you were doing.
Virtual desktops are superior to additional physical monitors. I’m fully prepared to die on this hill.
No one is mentioning Tux Racer? Blasphemy!
Hey it’s a free world. You’re welcome to migrate to a different instance. Heck why not run your own? That’s the power of the fediverse. Or just head back to Reddit.
And what is it that’s been undermining the democratic systems? Extreme concentration of wealth, courtesy of capitalism.
We’ve been hearing these stories for generations. “When our generation is in charge we won’t have these senseless wars any more” but somehow here we are again.
Looks like those clowns in Congress did it again. What a bunch of clowns.
Just like in Europe, to say there is no problem with migration is false, but to present it as an existential problem for the country or even the state is ridiculous. Starting a civil war over ‘nuggets’ of truth seems pretty dang evil.
Sounds like a job for LineageOS!
Not saying you’re necessarily wrong but “Fuck em” seems to be the new mantra of our society on all levels. Doesn’t bode well for the future.
Mainly because my Windows license is an OEM one that won’t move to the “new hardware” :/
Ketchup is sugar with tomato. Something you feed little children. Mustard had its place but Mayo for most uses of course.
Just looked him up on YT. First two bits were “there are too many deserts now” and “Norm doesn’t know what metaphors are”. Not offensive but super dated. He was probably very funny in his day.
I mean some of them show their age a bit and ok some of them rehash ideas from preceding ones, but it’s hard to think of any Miyazaki movie that did nothing for me at all.
You know email… Sending emails, receiving emails, deleting emails. Clicking, double clicking.
All music is derivative. And if you think the best vocalists or musicians should be the most popular I may have some shocking news for you. The idea that American pop stars are authentic is pretty funny.
Yeah Korean pop idol culture has some extremely toxic elements to it, but so does American celebrity culture. I don’t get the feeling that’s what’s bothering you though.
