I use KVM and put Windows in a VM for those things that it still is needed for. Don’t use it much these days. Dual booting was just too difficult.

You may not however in Australia our systems were supplied by US corporations for decades before cloud storage and processing became a thing. Every data centre was local but then some started to be owned/operated by those corporations, then started hosting in foreign countries. It’s a gradual transition where the risks were not obvious. It seems that the LNP attack on workers rights, especially work from home was a badly received. They don’t resonate with women and are seen as a boys club. Their campaign has been judged to be the worst ever. Their leader is extremely disliked and made the mistake of pretending to be a Trump lookalike. They are trailing against a government that people don’t think deserves to be re-elected.

After Meta was changing the rules so they could harvest WhatsApp user’s contacts I convinced my extended family to use Signal. They still use Signal because that’s the only way to include me however they all use WhatsApp as well.

The Canon driver needs to be installed on Fedora and has never worked out of the box without some tweaking. Canon is not really in the Linux support game.

The Canon Pixma has always problematic for me with driver issues.
