More or less what I have to do.
More or less what I have to do.
Will do.
I did as well. Same symptoms and on my next dentist visit, the dentist had noticed my sensitivity. Back to flouride tooth paste. I switched mainly because I wanted a tooth paste that was in a refillable container or used less plastic. Alas, I have to pick my health as a priority over helping the environment.
Meh I was more nervous based on the title, but it’s basically an app(malware) that people are told to install which can access phone details.
I’ve so far loved my pro x gaming headset (less than a year with it) but some highlights to me as someone that values longevity and repairability: the aux cable is disconnect able on both sides. This means if the cable is damaged, I can buy a spare vs having to solder or replace the whole thing.
This feels like a gross exaggeration of the problems with English. there’s a lot of patterns to English, despite a lot of weirdness and a lot of exceptions. But if you hear a new word, it will normally be easy to find in the dictionary on the first try. All that being said, yeah English is probably a mess compared to most languages, which is why it has spelling bees
I believe they’re talking about investments that share that chsracteristic. Generally Bonds and CDs would probably not be examples of good inflation resistant investments. in general, I believe index funds and I bonds are more resilient to inflation. Better still is maintaining diverse investment types. I’m open to corrections
Oatmeal with milk and fruit. Or sub fruit for peanut butter. Pretty filling, and keeps you full for longer than expected. Peanut butter and banana/jam sandwiches are very filling too. I think bananas have less sugar do I try to use that.
I don’t believe so. My understanding is that new homes aren’t significantly affected by prop 13. New home gets charged taxes at its full value. Over time, if housing prices increase, that home owner will pay only a 2% max increase per year. It does affect housing sales though. A person who is retired with no kids living at home anymore may want to sell their large home to downsize, but In doing that, they need to buy a now home which will likely have higher taxes. This discourages people from selling their homes. Removing prop 13 would help remove this concern.
Thanks, it makes more sense now.
I think you should try another pair and complain to PIAa. My wipers wipe water amazingly, even now. I can imagine some wear over time, but the fact that yours were not wiping well to begin with tells me it may have been a faulty instance (or their quality has dropped significantly recently). Regardless that’s a shitty experience
-Good year welt leather boots in general last a very long time. I have a pair of chippewa boots that have lasted me since 2016 and they’re still good. Haven’t needed to resole them, they’re very comfortable. I’ve worn them maybe 20-30% of the time(I let them rest at least a day between wears). -Straight razors and DE razors last a very long time, and they can both be significantly cheaper than regular disposable razors and electric shavers. -PIAA silicone windshield wipers (I think many silicone based wipers in general) are as BIFL as can be for windshield wipers. I think I have the same pair on my car from 2016.
Neither. Its rather chewy, but soft unlike cartilage. Unlike meat, it also doesn’t break apart as easily. Why do you ask?
Yeah, maybe left kernal development (like Linus indicated he may have done to various people), maybe that person was traumatized. But alas, there’s no other way to let a human being know they made a mistake without making exaggerated personal attacks.
People have offered very going advice, something not mentioned is: buying larger containers for any plastic related things I do need to buy. If I’m buying dish soap, i’m purchasing a larger container to reduce the amount of plastic I’m purchasing per unit of product. Meats and fish generally use plastic packaging. I eat a lot of beans which can be placed in your own packaging at many regular grocery stores, and generate less green house gasses then meats and fish.
Health related items are probably one of the few appropriate times to use plastic. I think that’s a pretty common opinion. The medical world uses a lot of plastic to saves lives, compared to cocacola which uses single use plastic to save money and make us unhealthy
Looking to buy any human leather or human leather made clothes because my guy loves that kind of stuff. I’d like to make it myself but then people get all emotional about it
Playing Rimworld
That’s cool. I seem to have issues finding this post, or the top post of the day (https://sh.itjust.works/post/8365139) by searching:
site:sh.itjust.works After watching the 2nd episode of 11th season of Futurama
And I’m not getting the correct result. Am I doing it right, but there’s something else affecting the results (top of day for lemmy isn’t as popular as needed to show up on google, bing, nor DDG)? or am I making a mistake somewhere?
Loved it! The show gets more and more complex but I still found it interesting.
Will look into that to see if that’s easier that what I currently do now. Thanks!
