Like others have said use Endeavour OS instead of Manjarno

Specifically for Windows vms without a GPU passed to it, VMware tends to do a way better job at least in my testing

I agree with this, for anyone at even a beginner level fredora is pretty great! I’ve used it many times for hosting servers, it’s pretty reliable and isn’t going away any time soon

I just use a VM for windows apps that don’t work through wine

Try freeoffice, I remember it having better compatibility with word docs

I used Manjaro for about 3 years

Its great but packages tend to break over time with it being a “stable” arch build

Over that 3 year period updates managed to break my install at least 30 times

Switched to Endeavour over a year ago and haven’t had an update break my install yet

I feel that the no machine updates are insane

Both easy anticheat and battle eye have support for Linux native and proton, it’s just down to the developers of games to enable it

Without windows more developers would likely enable support

Only things I can think of are that your hdmi or dp cable is out of spec, or if you are using a thunderbolt dongle/dock maybe the ports on that are out of spec
