My second bout with Covid. Wasn’t nearly as bad as the first time. All I did was watch Legend of Korra and Fargo season 5. All good now though.

Use your words. Tell her you don’t want to and why.
One book that did it well was Nine Princes in Amber. It worked because the readers got to discover the “real world” along with the main character. Without it there would’ve been a shit ton of exposition of a detailed setting that didn’t rely on Tolkien at all, one that the MC was already familiar with. Although it might have been fresh in 1970 and overdone since then.
Am melon. Trust melon. Give melon money.
I’ve never heard of Krita before, and now twice in one day. Please tell me why?
Post scarcity anarchism. I suggest you read Walkaway by Cory Doctorow. It made me into a (re)believer.

But after reading all the rest of these replies, I’m starting to wonder if I’m the weird one.

Oooh! I think I’m gunna learn me some Machine Learning for Inverse Graphics.
I was wondering why there wasn’t a federated insta. Seems there is.
I gotta look into this Lemmy thing. Sounds right up my alley.
It was a LARP that got jacked by Jim and Ron Watkins. Of course the Russians did everything they could to spread and benefit from QAnon, but, no, they didn’t start it.
You should look into RAG. The course I’m taking on Scrimba.com has a section on it, but I haven’t gotten to it yet.
Open source AI models will overtake for profit ones in complexity, power, and usefulness.
I really liked the immortal dude. Sam Spruell stole the show. I did have an issue with the Halloween episode though. Like Dot went through all the trouble of changing the street signs, but she couldn’t wear a mask on Halloween? Classic smart character does something stupid so the plot can happen.
