DDOS against a little self hosted instance isn’t really a concern I’d have. I’d be more concerned with the scraping of private information, ransomware, password compromises, things of that nature. If you keep your edge devices on the latest security patches and you are cognizant on what you are exposing and how, you’ll be fine.

You know how you can end up with crusties in your eyes in the morning? Well that gunk comes partly from your tear ducts and drys there. So sometimes when I blow them out I get some light white mucus as well as tears. When it’s really full it will make tiny bubbles. Lol and it whistles a little so people in the same room can hear it.

This has been my struggle. I read the documentation before posting to linux groups. And even saying that you just get “wHaT r U sToOpId!? rTfM aGaIn!” Like just rereading it will magically reveal terms that I didn’t understand the first 3 times. I gave up on trying to switch to linux.

I think my last straw was I was talking about establishing an SFTP server in OpenBSD (I know, unix not linux, don’t bother; same kinds of people in both) and I had a typo in my question and it was a very benign unimportant typo and some pedantic fuckwad had a mental fucking breakdown because he was now confused if I really wanted SFTP or FTP and how FTP was insecure blah blah…the whole thread was about setting up SFTP wtf would you think that changed in the middle because I forgot the S on SFTP in the middle of a discussion on setting up SFTP. Too many pedantics in the community and even when I like software I don’t want to be associated/involved with that level of unempathetic autistic assholery.

1000% the only reason I haven’t left where I am is because of funds. Moving out of country is expensive. As to where, a few options are on the table if I could go but would take more understanding the positives and negatives of each location a little more.

Really? Man, I always thought it was to study their routines and plan the murder for when they are most alone and have the site and a grave prepared. Ideally away from prying eyes unless you like the thrill of getting caught or whatever…

But that aside, this is really solid advice. Nitpicking things you don’t like is a great option towards losing interest.

Just make all sports unisex and it won’t matter. Except it does matter in some cases. Easy pick from the top of the pile is men’s and women’s gymnastics. There are plenty of comparative videos on YT showing one gender being able to do an event and the other being barely able or not able to do it. There are enough physiological divisions, that some movements and performances will be limited or enhanced by ones innate physiology. Skeletal structure, muscle structure, etc. It follows reason then, that a trans person can still maintain these advantages or disadvantages and therefore have an unfair advantage if they choose the related sport.

Honestly though, would really just rather them combine all sports as unisex and see what happens. Women will dominate some, and men others. I don’t see many women as dominating linemen in the NFL, but I likewise see very few men winning medals in women’s style gymnastics. Trans won’t even be a question anymore. Just give everyone the leveled field.
