• !precum@lemmynsfw.com is completely unmoderated and does not seem to appear on your list. It is a community in which I have been posting before and it is not super active so perhaps I could mod that one (seems like an easy enough start). I will see whether I will be adding more OC there, too.
• !gonemild@lemmynsfw.com is a place where I am active as a poster since recently (we need more men there besides the women), so if the top mod there would like me to, I could try to help them out.
• !coffeegonewild@lemmynsfw.com is not on your lists, but has 1 mod who seems inactive. I am posting and consuming content there, so I am volunteering to mod there.
• I am active in !penis@lemmynsfw.com and !cocks@lemmynsfw.com as poster of OC. If the mod there needs help (both are on your last list) I could have a go at assisting a bit.

These should be plenty to start with I suppose.

You could ask them I guess, or just wait and see whether the admins will start responding to the comments in this thread.

In the sidebar there should be clickable account names, so you can go to their respective profiles and check for any activity on their end (at least posts & comments, not their mod efforts unfortunately).

I have not been a mod of any sort of online community in like years but maybe I could give it a shot again. Communities I have been thinking of are CoffeeGoneWild, Grool, Softies and Precum. I prefer a somewhat easy start so I suggest I am not going to do all of them at once. I prefer to help running CoffeeGW and Grool over the others. For Softies and Precum I suggest looking at who is most active in there and ask those people, although if there are no other candidates I could still do it. I will leave the decision up to you.

I agree with you on downvotes as in I barely used them on this instance either.

If you are looking for a new main, have you considered e.g. lemmings.world (not to be mixed up with lemmy.world)? I have my current main Lemmy account on there and so far it is good (albeit is not as “tested by trial” as LemmyNSFW has been so far). It’s up to you though.

Fair enough comment on the logos, which are indeed absent on most if not all pics there. Then again, cropping is a thing and at least they are not selfies so it still looks different from most OC-centered communities in some ways. So maybe I should have written “professionally looking” or so. But whatever, so far so good with upvotes counting upwards of 30 and no mod action has been taken thus far. It also is similar in “style” to most of the current first page in that /c/.

I suspect a lot of the posts there are actually photos taken professionally. I will cross-post thereto and we will see.
