First thing I saw there. I’m glad to see they’re such a diverse group lol.

Listen, I’m trying not to ascribe intent to their actions. But yeah, possibly.
If you look at the communities themselves, it seems like they’re trying to become mods of most religions, many political beliefs, and concepts related to India.
They’re also asking to become mods of already existing coms. I’m really not sure what they’re up to.
Edit: Even more interesting, it seems like there’s been common requests for religious and Indian communities on !community_requests@lemmy.ml over the past 2 months. I’m not sure what to make of that either.
I think there’s a good chance people will leave once Lemmy integrates with Threads. So if you time things wisely, you can probably get a good base of users to swap their coms to Sublinks.
What’s your planned policy for karma? I know users hated it, but as a reddit mod I found it super useful to determine between a misinformed user and a troll. If your plan for mod tools is as good as you’re saying, I wouldn’t mind going back to modding.
CSAM is still unfortunately an issue on Lemmy. Just yesterday I had to contact an admin of the 2nd largest instance directly to get a post removed that had been up for several hours. Worst of all, it had more upvotes than downvotes. I do applaud the admin for taking action the minute I notified them, but it should never have been able to get that far.
Also, some of the issues involving Lemmy developers really remind me of major Minecraft servers back in the day lol. There’s just an inability for the “helpers” to do much problem solving because of the lack of tools, and absolute reliance on the person at the top to take action. Even then, the person at the top doesn’t always have the skill set necessary to solve the issues that arise.
I look forward to seeing how Sublinks goes, but without a good reason for users to migrate it could be dead on arrival.
Always eat the pizza crust. If you don’t, I will.
Honestly, your writing style is rather short and blunt at times. I don’t think you’re trying to be rude, but some people browsing the comments probably see it that way, or at least low-effort responses.
With the influx of assholes Lemmy.world has been having recently, I think you’re getting lumped into that crowd.
My suggestion would be to try writing longer responses, and say nice or agreeable responses more often. Hope this helps!
I messaged a user who kept posting dead bodies and their response was:
“I’m sorry” to say it but there’s likely going to be a whole lot more of this posts very soon as famine is reaching critical levels in Gaza, so you might want to consider staying off the internet. Because I’m going to raise as much hell as possible about it.
Dude wouldn’t even use the NSFW tag, and is only here to ignore rules and cause problems.

Tàu hũ nước đường. It’s Vietnamese sweet silken tofu topped with a pineapple, peach, or ginger sauce. Usually with peach or mango pearls.
I used to sit in my car after a long night shift and savor every little bite. They are unfortunately not a good food for weight loss however.
Just out of curiosity, which new ones have you seen today? I’ve noticed ai images being included in parts of memes, but it’s mostly been as a replacement for low effort photoshopping.

Hmmm. Maybe try a forced reset of the app? It seems to be working on tall images for me.
It can be either depending on implementation. If created to supplement lacking welfare services I’d say it’s progressive leaning. If used to replace and prevent welfare systems (Andrew Yang style), I’d say it’s pretty libertarian leaning.
American gen-Z punk rock anarchist, for what it’s worth.
This is by default. You need to enable ‘Load HD Images’ In settings, however things will sometimes take longer to load due to the extra data.
I honestly think it’s too broad of a question since each of those types of people will be doing vastly different things through their time at home. I might play with my dog more often when unemployed, while a homemaker is on their feet caring for a child, and a retired person is doing home maintenance. All of those are different activities on foot, but maybe not available to people in different situations.
I could note however, my grandma has a standing sewing machine that’s pretty cool. As for books, I’ve used a music stand in the garage before, though maybe a podium of sorts would be better in the house.
Probably not for everyone, but Facebook marketplace with local pickup is really good for some parts. YMMV
I was planning on buying an RX 6700XT from Newegg for $450ish, but instead managed to get a 6600 (non XT) for $80. I then found a 6700XT a month later for $300, bought it, and gave the 6600 to my cousin’s kid.
I also bought a shitbox I turned into a Plex server for $75.

In a general sense of messaging, that totally makes sense. Biden has raised the capital gains tax and reclassified cannabis, while Trump is a criminal who committed election fraud. I want people who live in swing states to vote for Biden for the sake of us all.
Specifically about the issue of voting though, am I missing something?
