Saying Windows 10 is worse than Windows 8 is just nonsense. Saying macOS is worse now than 5 years ago is… just dumb? And the colour scheme doesn’t make any sense, why is the red at macOS literally higher than the green?

The actual answer is pretty simple: Donating the body to “science”. Last Week Tonight recently made an entire episode about this: donating your organs and body and where it can end up (and especially in the case of donating the body, it can end up in all kinds of places).
So it’s ethically as in the people donated it and were aware of giving it away, but at least most of them certainly didn’t know that this is what their skulls could end up being used for.

Ruffle: You may not know it but most old Flash games (and basically every anmiation) can be played again with this, modern and in a Browser sandbox. Website owners can include it in the backend with a few lines of code and all flash games work again automatically, and it’s also available as desktop app :D
I looked at Whiskey but as far as I can see, that’s just… a Wine wrapper and not related to Proton.
I mean I appreciate the comment, thanks, but I have Wine installed via Homebrew and it works without any real problems.
Everything Valve does to Proton eventually makes it way back upstream to Wine proper.
Ah okay, that’s nice. I wasn’t completely sure about that. At least if that’s the case and the projects are so related, I’m wondering why Proton doesn’t work on macOS. I could have imagined the code bases to start to differ more and more.
But I mean, I’m fine with Wine (or to be exact the Wine/Crossover version I can get with Homebrew).
I sometimes wish Proton was also available on macOS… But Wine is good enough I guess, and still works great for most games :)

I’m still using an iPhone 7. I might get an upgrade at some point because multiple things are broken and I don’t really have space on the storage anymore, but I totally agree that you can live many years with the same phone without any problems.
