Why spend 30 seconds manually editing some text when you can spend 30 minutes clobbering together a pipeline involving awk, sed and jq

2·4 months agoDoesn’t windows eventually shut down every hour when you don’t activate it? Or is that just their shitty development VM that does that so I have to reinstall it every 30 days?

While we’re on the topic; any decent smart watches out there that
- aren’t made by apple
- don’t harvest my data
- don’t stream everything I do straight to china
? I like the concept of a smart watch, but I haven’t really looked into the ecosystem. Preferably one that just integrates nicely with any android phone

Pretty much this. When this hole thing started I swore I’d never buy an American product again, but I quickly realized I didn’t buy much of it anyways… The only American food/drink that we have is junk food and soft drinks, i.e. stuff that’s easy to avoid or replace
I hate these bots, all they do is spam the platform with garbage. There’s a couple RSS bots that just repost news pages to a bunch of communities. What’s the point? If I wanted an RSS feed of a news site I’d just… subscribe to their RSS feed.
These bot accounts seem to have popped up recently.
Edit: I thought the point of a content aggregation platform was to see a human-curated selection of content ffs
