See, this is what people say, but now that I’ve been reading labels I don’t believe it.

For example, I cannot eat Kellogg’s Rice Krispies, but some off brands are made with a different formula that doesn’t include gluten and is manufactured in a safe environment.

Conversely, I can eat Cheerios, but not most store brands, Lucky Charms but not most store brands, etc.

And that’s just cereal! Even drugs vary wildly. Sure, the active ingredients are the same, but the other contents can really vary.

Some foods have similar ingredients, but are either manufactured on shared equipment with wheat and dairy, or not.

I now believe that most store brands are made in a unique environment. I’m open to being convinced otherwise, but if you need more examples, I can check my cupboard and tell you all kinds of things!

My provider claims generics can have different fillers and such. The active ingredients have to be the same, though.

If I really wanted to be sure, I’d ask a pharmacist.

They’re not. I have celiac, and I’ve learned from reading labels that they often have completely different ingredients/manufacturing conditions.

They’re not QC rejects, but they’re also not the same thing repackaged.

I come from the school of showing unity, support, and mutual aid. Dancing at shows was one thing, but deliberately hurting people is fucked up imo.

You don’t need one. Connecting your Spotify account is optional. You should still be able to use Spotube without one.

Ok so if you connected your Spotify account, then it should have your saved playlists and so forth in your library. You can stream or even download these tracks, just like with Spotify Premium. You should also be able to create new playlists/save content to your library.

It even has some features that Spotify doesn’t have. For example, you can totally block specific artists. So like for me, I fucking hate The Dwarves, and Spotify always recommends them to me. On Spotube, I was able to block them. (I’d have to refresh my memory on how.)

The catch is, it doesn’t use actual content from Spotify at all. Instead, it grabs these tracks from YouTube’s API. At least, that’s how it worked when I used it. If you try to download too much content at once, it will make you confirm that you understand that your ISP or someone might notice and take action, so … download judiciously, I guess?

I usually have a pretty solid mobile data connection, so I never bothered with downloading.

I second Spotube. I actually do pay for Spotify, but I’ve considered moving to Spotube entirely. I was really impressed when I tried it.

Skyrim was my chill game for years, but now I’d say Elder Scrolls Online. Everyone I know who plays ESO is super non-competitive and chill. It’s just got a great vibe.

Which sites work better in Chrome? I’m forced to use the Google suite at work, and I do everything within Firefox. Even sites that insist they only work in Chrome have always worked for me merely by switching the user-agent header
