That’s how I feel with Photoshop. I grew up with fireworks and still to this day I miss the workflow fireworks allowed. I’ve never found an exact replacement for it. It was easier for me to completely soft too a new paradigm and use inkscape, than it was to use Photoshop. I’ve not tried krita yet though but I’m less of a “drawer”, at least at the moment anyway.
It was a must back when I was using my pixel 3 so I could listen to music and charge my phone at the same time since it didn’t have a headphone jack.
Now for for this use case I’m used to just having to put in one cable.
I’m just adding that it’s not the de facto just because it is in the US
Do you know of any examples?
I’m in the UK and I’ve not yet had a 5G phone. We’re also only having 3G turned off in the immediate future
I actually just got one a few days ago. Only issue i have is if you have a usb c cable for power and audio for use on a car or something it gets confused and won’t put audio through the cable. However standard usb c headphones do still work if you need them
Sadly the 3 also doesn’t have a headphone jack so I’ve had to deal with a dongle for ages. But also it’s the battery that is making me consider getting a new phone. But I’m probably not getting a flagship. I don’t need the power anymore. I’ve even thought about getting a feature phone, like the kind that still android. But most of them are still chonky as cause they make them for the elderly and disabled as the primary market.
I’d get a falcons in a heartbeat if it was smaller. Don’t mind the thickness but I’m sick of large phones. I’m probably just going to get the jellystar
Upgrading from a pixel 6 pro… I’m still on a pixel 3 and the only thing that’s making me want to get a new phone is my battery, but even then I’m still apprehensive. It’s not like I NEED a new phone.
I do have a case, but it still doesn’t take away from the fact that the screen goes beyond the edge of the glass and it’s a bit on the curvy part. But you also shouldn’t have to have a case on a phone. But now they make them like glass sandwiches so we have to be careful with them like looking after an egg in school.
I also got myself out of the phone contract cycle. Waste a lot of money staying in a contract. Been with my current phone for like 5 or 6 years now. Pixel 3, if you care.
We need phones to have bezels again anyway. I’m sick of having to gingerly hold a phone in hopes of not accidentally touching the screen
A few years ago I paid for winrar cause I had used it for free for about 15-20 years at least
The country itself, yeah, pretty shit.
Sometimes you might still want the services in your own country to act as if you’re in your own country. (I don’t use one but) for example I live in the UK and I wouldn’t want my VPN to tell Disney+ I’m in the US cause Disney+ is better in the UK with more content.
Seems there only in rose gold at the moment, I got a pair of silvers last year and they work exactly as you’d want them to work.

Feels weird that C# is so low down but I guess this really only shows the hobbyist stuff which more often tends towards the likes of python and JS.
Just spitballing, but maybe the Google play services that lots of apps require to run? So even if you have a third party store you likely still need those services that also lump in a bunch of other stuff for Google’s benefit.
I hate some things they do but I use a lot of their stuff. I have a pixel 3, i have 3 Google home minis, i use gmail, docs, keep, search. I never understand the whole degooglificatiom everyone seems to strive for but I’m also not against it, it’s just not something I care enough about.
Please don’t be one of them Devs that does everything on discord. It’s awful for knowledge. You’ll just get people asking the same questions because you don’t have an FAQ or a wiki, or even a forum elsewhere that’s easily searchable.
