Maybe it’s my job, but I feel like I haven’t had a job in the last decade that I really enjoyed. I might just be getting older and jaded.

Engineer (p.s. don’t become an engineer, it’s not as great as they sold it to us)
This is my standard issue cutie.
Yeah, I got that. I’m saying they need to make some friends and get some hobbies if they aren’t being funded by a state.
What a dick. I couldn’t imagine spending that much time contributing to a project so I could introduce security vulnerabilities.
If this is one individual, and not a nation state, somebody needs to make some friends and pick up some hobbies.
The games are monster taming. The show, yeah, I’d agree with that. You aren’t exactly going out hunting for more digimon in the show. That’s why it was better to me. The premise was actually more complex than, gotta catch em all.
Well, I would close my account. Dunno how many other people would do the same. But I’m getting pretty tired of being considered just a target for ads and products, and given the ethos of the federated community, would be a huge violation of trust in my opinion over and above normal bcz they have all sworn that they don’t and won’t do that.
Already quit one social media site I was on for over a decade. Wouldn’t be any worse than that.
Digimon is so much better than pokemon. Besides, they were developed around the same time anyway, so it’s not possible for it to be a knock off. The ideas of monster hunting and taming isn’t exactly novel, wasn’t even original back then.
I became active on reddit again recently to promote my game development. Hadn’t been on since the API price changes. But with the recent updates to the AI scrapping my content, and the IPO, I think it’s time to pull the plug for good. No idea how I’m supposed to get my stuff out there as an Indie dev, but reddit management can shove it up their ass.
Yeah, but it’s posted in Linuxmemes, if it were posted anywhere else I would warn people about running the command.
It’s a joke dude, on my part, and I’m sure on OPs part.
Why would you tell people to run that command? You’re a bad person.
Nothing, if I had a choice, my data wouldn’t be for sale for any amount of money, and neither would anybody else’s
That could be the case. I don’t know if any long term melatonin use studies have been conducted. But they do caution against using it long term given the safety of it hasn’t been well studied.
I would caution doing this too much. Melatonin is great for short term sleep issues. But too much melatonin can turn into insomnia. It’s happened to me several times, where I take melatonin too many nights in a row (I’m talking weeks, or even months), and I end up having difficulty sleeping for almost a week when I try not taking melatonin anymore.
Move to the couch, and read a boring book if you can’t sleep. Don’t do anything stimulating or chances are it will make it harder to eventually go back to sleep.
I’m just really jaded about spending all my time working, and barely having time to spend with my family every year, except a few days around Christmas time. Our bullshit expectation of always working just doesn’t work for me anymore.
I had look up what RTFM meant, but I had a good laugh afterward.
I don’t see that much linux on my feed, you can always unfollow the Linux community.
Well, that seems like an insulting question. Not that it matters, but I’m an aerospace engineer.
