More than I can list. I’m at a point in my life where I can afford to start and complete these types of projects now, so I’m enjoying that freedom.

These days, I often re-engineer everyday items into better versions of themselves. It’s nice to have something that’s customized for you, or better than you can buy anywhere.

Usually it’s money. Students are typically not very wealthy.

My house has manual windows, manual locks, and a dumb garage door controller… because I work in IT.

I do have a few smart appliances (environment reporting) but they are only allowed on the banishment VLAN so they don’t get to interact with any single appliance inside my network. All they see is internet and nothing else.

For mobile I use a FiiO BTR7 and either my Simgot SM4’s or my Timeless II’s. They work for nearly anything with BT or a wired connection.

At home I run a 7.1 Marantz amp and a 120" 1080 projector in my home theater.

My issue is usually more of a source problem than a reproduction problem. You need high quality input to get high quality output.

Probably a tie between The Cat Returns and Pom Poko. I love the way Pom Poko is told, along with the various animation styles. And who doesn’t love The Baron?

Initiator Target mode and Host Bus Adapter mode are interchangable terms for the same thing. The card has 2 modes, one is RAID (don’t use this) and the other is Initiator-Target or HBA mode.

ZFS needs direct disk access so flash the IT .bin for HBA mode using the P20 (latest) drivers and you’re g2g.

I can’t stand it when people think video games are bad for you, they’re actually quite good for you. Who’s better off, the potato watching TV or the gamer actively improving their brain and coordination skills?

I had both my kids before this existed. I would have killed to have 12 weeks paid off to be with my new family. Getting exactly zero days off when you are a new dad SUCKS.

Elon is gutting every TLA he can to ensure his taxes decrease and yours increase. Elon is tearing through decades of support and opportunity programs designed to help the less fortunate/less abled to live comfortably so he can live more comfortably.

Everything he’s doing, is for his own benefit and personal gain, to the extreme detriment of the entire country. He’s neither qualified nor elected. His actions should amount to treason, but they’re being enabled by a traitorous, treasonous, felonious criminal, the shittiest president this country has ever seen.
