Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Are you tired of movie remakes and reboots?
3·1 month agoI’ve still yet to understand what the purpose of the How To Train Your Dragon remake was.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•USUAL in your country but NOT anywhere else.
4·1 month agoDepends on the bus type though. A lot of buses have a rear door, and sometimes it’s kinda rude to go out through the front when there’s a lot of people coming in through the front. So then you end up leaving through the rear and it would be awkward to shout ‘Thank you!’ to the driver, over everyone’s head.

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Beware, another "wonderful" conservative instance to "free us" has appeared English
1·1 month agoWho are you talking to? See, you’ve included me in a group which i am definitely not even a part of. If this is how people like you behave, this country has no hope of reconciliation. (I have, and would never vote for, someone like Trump, btw)

24·1 month agoI don’t know… just like how “black voters” are not a true homogenous voting block, neither are “MAGA” proponents all of the same ideology. There’s no rule book they all “abide” by. It’s a spectrum of ridiculous people.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What things should I do in NYC next weekend?
5·2 months agoNative New Yorker here - do not take any tourist ferries whatsoever. Do take the commuter ferries or even the Staten Island Ferry (free) for a pretty great view of Lady Liberty.

3·3 months agoI feel exactly similar except the last part. I’m curious, if you ever figure it out - please update this post.
Oh I see you meant you didn’t even see the etching on the right. Haha thought you meant the very visible etching on the left, and I was confused…
Right, 100% . Left is undeniably tacky, sorry. (I’d even say right was better with no etchings at all, or simpler ones)
Then what’s the difference - why pick it?

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•If You Have Choice then Which part would you choose to be born in?

Because of Ronald Reagan obviously.
