My new laptop has a nvidia card in it. One time it stopped working after a update so I downgraded the drivers so I can wait entail the next update they do work. Besides that it have worked great. I am on fedora so rpmfusion is where the drivers are from.

I just tried opening discord a minute ago and got that lmao. Since I am on fedora I can’t use the deb file. Often pointing around on my system I found where all the discord files are and I made a script that downloads the discord .tar.gz file and moves all the files to the right places. Every time I get the prompt I run the script and it updates discord for me (:

The main version of fedora comes with gnome but you have opinions for KDE. A lot of people just install KDE along side gnome but I like Fedora KDE spin because it feels cleaner not having the gnome apps. Even though you can use fedora right after install there are a few things most people like to do first. You will use dnf (its like apt but in fedora) and flatpaks mostly.
After that you should be good to go. With rpm fusion and flathub there really isn’t going to be any packages you can get in debian but not fedora
While fedora kde spin is my favorite some other good opinions are opensuse, debian, and something arch based if you want something a bit different. Out of all of those debian will feel the most comfy but its not known for having up to date packages since they do lots of testing before pushing an update.
I really like KDE. My current system is fedora KDE spin though I also have sway installed but I don’t use it much. I changed some KDE keybinds to feel more like sway and i3.

I found there isn’t any great way to do so. Your best bet is finding a theme that works for you. I like cinnamon for a nice default look though I am thinking of switching back to kde so I can customize more. The one theme I like has a title bar to big ):

I don’t believe that fire played as big as a role in early human development that scientists claim. There are cases of modern humans eating raw rotten meat and being fine. A lot of the chemical shit that goes down when meat rots has a lot of the same effects of cooking it. There are plenty of ways to do a thing and we should view it as lots of useful things instead of one end all.
