38·2 years agoPlatypus: it’s a weird custom build, but it works as intended.
Maybe it’s the perspective, but it looks like an adult man’s head on a kid’s body.

64·2 years agoI’ve noticed that some people do use other filters than “Hot” or they scroll back in smaller communities, because I’ll occasionally get comment replies to posts I made months ago. It’s cool to see.

10·2 years agoI don’t know if anime counts, but the Psycho-Pass “Dominator” is a really cool science fiction concept in itself.

21·2 years agoThat would be helpful. I have a Mastodon account that I’m pretty much just using to post my OC trek memes (plus some of my favorites from Risa), and being able to crosspost both ways would be nice.

31·2 years agoI don’t really know how to navigate GitHub to see more detail, but how would this improve the cross-posting function that already exists?
I’ve used it a handful of times and it seems pretty straightforward.

9·2 years agoThis is incredible timing. I just downloaded F-Droid for the first time this evening and thought “Wow, there’s so much here, I don’t even know where to start. I bet I could ask Lemmy for app recs.”
Opened Lemmy, saw this post.
Ooh, I love this. Way to go @stamets@startrek.website!

Fediverse@lemmy.world•Average Lemmy Active Users by MonthEnglish
581·2 years agoFor whatever anecdotal observations are worth, I’ve recently been seeing a huge uptick in activity from the userbase that is here. Maybe it’s been driven by posts like this one or memes about growing Lemmy, but people seem to be posting and commenting more than usual.

It would be rude not to.
