In my mind, it’s not that the intelligence community had indisputable evidence that said “these people are going to hijack these plans at this time and simultaneously crash them into these buildings”…but moreso “there is chatter about an upcoming attack involving hijacked planes” but they didn’t have enough to act on it.

Now…with that part said, I 100% fully agree that this attack was used as a blank-check excuse to invade the Middle East carte clanche.

There are a few conspiracy theories remember hearing a lot about (aside from steel fuel melting jet beams and tower 7) that I never quite followed up on. If you know of evidence debunking any these please share. I DO NOT BELIEVE THESE THEORIES MYSELF, THESE ARE JUST ONES THAT PEOPEL I KNOW HAVE BEEN SPOUTING OFF OVER THE YEARS.

1. CIA confiscating Security cam footage from a gas state across the street from the Pentagon which shows an American cruise missile hitting it instead of an airplane.

2. No plane debris found at the Pentagon

3. That entire wing of the Pentagon which was hit was “conveniently” closed for renovations

4. No plane debris at the crash site in PA, which is said to have went down because the pilots bravely crashed on purpose to thwart the terrorist plans

5. The owners of the twin towers updated huge insurance policies the day(s) leading up to 9/11.

In my house, the fans are on 100% of the time in my master bedroom and the living room. I rarely turn on the light in the living room because it’s super open, and the TV is always on, the kitchen is completely opened to the living room and on the opposite side is floor to ceiling windows. My bedroom fan has constant power to the fan so that’s always on and I sure the light switch.

The last few times the fans were not on is when I lost power.

In their new house, my parents put those remote controlled fans in the spare rooms we’d stay in. It’s controlled by a switch which is an all-or-nothing. When I stay here holidays (out of state) I prefer to have the ceiling fan on at all times because the room is usually several degrees warmer without it. So to leave the fan on but light off when I’m not in the room, I have to find the remote…that they refuse to mount on the wall in the small case it came in.

Alien & Aliens by the 4th grade, the Terminators, Robocop…I had action figures for all those movies.

I also learned a lot from USA Up All Night.

Also got into my dad’s playboy stash in the 3rd grade.

Wrapping paper and bows/ribbons. THey’re just gonna get torn up anyway, no reason to spent a ton of money to make it fancy

…Whenever you’re at the store and make a debit card purchase with the option for cash back, get some back. $5, $10, $20…whatever. And put this into a rainy-day fund. You never know when you might need some quick cash or it’d be the make-or-break for a quick splurge.

Granted, I learned of this method from a friend of the family who used this method to hide money from her husband so take it with a grain of salt.

I was always kinda the same way with those stickers. I’ve always had a worry in the back of my head that if I like the sticker I’d be mad if it didn’t stick or whatever I put it on I’d have to throw away.

I’m more of a T-shirt/sticker person. If I like the brewery I’ll get a shirt (so long as they’re not grossly overpriced) but will always try to get a sticker…again of they’re not grossly overpriced. The only place that charged more than $2 for a sticker has terrible beer.

My big cooler is almost completely covered and it almost seems like half my shirts are from breweries.

Big Trouble in Little China

The problem was the story itself was so self-contained any sequel they tried would have clearly been nothing but a huge cash grab.

But they supposedly are making a sequel, starring The Rock 🫤

There were plans, with the daughter joining the family business.

FUBAR on Netflix isn’t terrible since it plays some of the same keys as True Lies, and it got renewed for a second season…but it’s painfully obvious that Arnold is too old for this stuff anymore.

They tried a TV reboot adaptation of True Lies. It was baaad

I’ve actually been considering getting a mini-pc. My old setup at home used to be my main PC hooked up to my TVs in the living room with a wireless keyboard. Id do some low end gaming on it and mostly streaming. Im in process of selling that house and looking to go back into a more traditional setup, with my main PC In a den with actual monitors, but still want to consider the option of having a mini PC in the living room TV for the occasional PC needs, and running lower end party games from steam like Jack Box.

I bought a couple a few years ago, the only one I still use is the PiHole, which has been phenomenal. I did try to use one as a media server but turned out to be more of a pain than it was worth.

The need to always seem manly around other men…in particular the choice of music. Ride in the car with certain people, they always have to be blasting hard rock or rap, or hard country depending on your location.

Meanwhile I’m over here enjoying switching between pop, rock, new wave, alt and even my playlist of exclusively Elton John, Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel and Billy Joel

2 former coworkers of mine who always the smartest person they know. One of em lives alone and you can tell he’s never lost an argument (with himself in his head) and anytime he tries to back up his opinion it’s always the same “it’s dumb, it’s stupid, it doesn’t make sense it’s not LoGiCaL”. But anytime you try to chime in…he talks over you.

The other is one of those “I read both sides of the story so I know far far more than you”…who was a one of those reddit knowitalls.
