Oh nice selection you got there!
I like Mr Ballen’s early stuff, Raven reads, some Mr. Nightmare here and there, Coffeehouse crime is another favorite.
In spanish I like Relatos de la Noche and La voz que lo cuenta todo.

Try different things until you find something that feels good even as an idea. Think about things you like doing and how you like them. For me, I dislike team sports and being surrounded by people in a gym setting. I like doing things on my own, preferably at home while not talking to anyone. I first start thinking about maybe enjoying a spooky story podcast while walking so I start thinking about the temperature and the things I like watching while I’m out, etc. Same for weight lifting, pilates and yoga (Those are my cyclical workouts. I get bored easily) I hype myself up in my head first and then use the “do it for five minutes” method.
I have NEVER said “Well I wish I didn’t come to yoga. This class sucked” “That lifting routine was a total waste of time. Not doing it again”
Also, having cute/neat stuff for it helps, just beware of spending habits. Did I need to buy green yoga blocks? No Do they make me Happy everytime I look how they are the exact same shade as my pothos? Yes they do.
Read Era. They also have a paid option but the free is great as it is!
How to cook. Even if it is only a pair of eggs or a simple sandwich.
This superpower still eludes me most of the time but I keep practising.
Knowing when to leave a conversation, a room, a party, a relationship, etc.
Spot on about the gentrification bit. Entire town populations have shifted from local people to the self called expats and snowbirds. Just look at Chelém, Mérida, San Miguel de Allende, Tulúm, Cancún and many many more including most upitty neighborhoods in México City (Condesa, Roma, San Angel).
Mean girls.
Oh the scene/secquence? From Tim Burton’s “Big Fish” when he gets the dad back in the water. That was so wholesome but so sad at the same time.
“Perfect is the enemy of good enough” This changed my view about so many things: Exercise, it’s fine if I don’t go 100% everyday. Work, it’s perfectly fine to negotiate agreements. Etc.
I thought I knew stuff about nutrition, then I hired a professional and learned that lots of so called “healthier” or “better” foods were not so. I also learned not to think about food in terms of good or bad, food has no morals. It has been a great adventure to learn so much about how to take care of myself and feed me in the best way that I can each day.

This sucks. I am sorry for your absolutely devastating decision, OP. It is so hard and so hurtful to have to choose and yet there is so much grace and love in doing so. I am sending you a hug and the promise that he will be hurting no more❤️
Thanksbfor the reply. I like the idea about getting ideas from other media! Thanks
I remember my dad doing it and it brings back good memories for me: The smell, the sounds.
What’s your preferred medium? Do you have a way to make art everyday? I feel stuck at times and learning about how and what other art interested people Do gives me ideas.
Ay dios mio! I never knew this and always thought of it as cheesy vacation song.
She’s a cutie! What’s her name? I like her coat.
I have no internal monologue but I do have a mind’s eye. Ideas and thoughts appear to me in “splashes” or like a very quick flash. I can detect patterns in behavior and speech very accurately and quickly, and this abilty/quirk also makes me very tired rapidly. I love complicated stuff but get bored easily. Reading is one of my passions but I have to have different books for different times and places.
