Thanks. I was wondering what the context of this post was.
At least Matrix has a lot of 90’s references and a very 90’s setting. Mostly the pay phone I suppose, but they’re a big part of the movie lol.
I hope we don’t lose them. Or someone is archiving all this knowledge.
I still find some good answers for questions on my car in some good old, car forums specific to whatever make you may have.
The Fantasy Grounds forum is for a virtual tabletop for TTRPGs that’s pretty active, and it’s been going through a lot of good UI updates lately since the guy from DnD Beyond joined.
Love it lol. That banana phone song was a blast from the past.
Is it your cake day? What’s the cake next to your name mean?
If so, happy cake day!
I believe both. Fusion bomb was made after the fission one. So ya, that’s a tough one.
But I suppose as long as we’re just making wishes, there’s got to be one like things can’t explode but you can still get harmless energy from them or something like that, so stars still work. Idk,this one might require a physicist to phrase it right lol.
So kind of enforcing karma as like a universal truth? I like it!
Ooh that also reminds me of an RTS I impulse bought once and ended up absolutely falling in love with for a long time.
It was called Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends. What I most enjoyed was it’s unique factions: a clockwork/steampunk faction, an Arabian Nights inspired faction, and a Chariot of the God’s inspired Mayan/alien faction.
Mighty Be Our Powers by Leymah Gbowee
It’s an autobiography by the woman who is probably most famous for leading a Lysistra-like sex strike in Liberia for peace but she’s also done other cool organizing of woman, and Christians and Muslims in Africa.
I’ve heard really good things about this one. It’s on my list.
I want to give her pats and pets.
It’s happening!
Kind of a downer ending though for mainstream audiences
He was supposed to do some detective work in The Batman movie, right? It’s been awhile since I’ve seen it, though, so I don’t remember how much they fulfilled that promise.
I’m sure everyone knows this by now, but I remember being surprised by how much lore is apparently in Five Nights at Freddy’s when the movie came out. I had no idea that there were whole YouTube channels devoted to uncovering the lore and solving the mysteries. I always figured it was just a jump scare game for kids and streamers, and that’s what it seemed like the one time I watched someone live stream themselves playing the VR version before (must have been the first game before they started all the lore stuff, I guess).
Looks like there’s one on Lemmygrad but Lemmy.world, the biggest instance, is not federated with that instance.
