I don’t know for certain, of course, but it seems like the most likely explanation that all other humans are like me in that regard.
That has already happened, so no, we wouldn’t.
The problem is actually testing for self awareness. We’re not even sure what makes humans self-aware or whether certain animals are. How will we actually know that AI has reached self-awareness?
Well, this thread is fucking depressing
At least it is an actual answer to the question, unlike most other comments
Honestly she seems pretty similar to her husband in how illogical she’s being.
Love is not logical. If she’s happy, I don’t see the issue. It’s up to her to decide whether she believes he’s a good person, and apparently she does. Who are we to tell her she’s wrong about someone we don’t even know?
Committing tax evasion maybe lol
There’s better and worse ones, obviously. Mine is so bright it lights up the entire room by itself.
A sunrise alarm clock will do the trick, too
They are, they’re just ignorant
The problem is if you spend an insignificant amount of money every day the total amount doesn’t stay insignificant for long.
Spending money on something that is less likey to return a profit than it is to get hit by lightning isn’t exactly an indicator of financial literacy, tbf.
And we thought we had a drug problem in the USA.
I’d rather have smokers than opioid addicts, but to each their own
Cigarettes are much worse for everyone around you than alcohol. Passive smoking is pretty dangerous and the main reason why so many laws exist against smoking in public places.
I don’t see how this answers OP’s question?
It’s far from perfect, but it isn’t the cause of every single issue anyone’s ever had like people on here would have you believe
How else would they get fresh air in their room?
