When I was young, a massive old upright board tipped over in an old building and actually came down, rusty nail first, on my head. It hit a low horizontal beam I was standing next to and was stopped/deflected just enough that the nail only poked a small scratch in my scalp.
Kind of hard to describe, but I imagine I would not have survived that even without the nail. Still, the nail was just kind of icing on the already massively incredible event chain cake.
Finding employment is just losing a job with extra steps. Straight to jail.
Probably locked her in a basement and forced her to write articles instead.
I’m very much fine with that, too. I just think it was on the right on Sun keyboards. Either way, not the most common key but infinitely more useful than a caps lock.
Having some kind of control signal available over wire would be nice, though. So the only way to dim lights wasn’t to turn them on and off again a hundred times a second. That would also enable timers and automatic lights for those who want them. Without clouds.
Caps lock is stuck in what is a great place for a modifier. Specifically ctrl. Compose can be somewhere to the right.
I’ll mention organic maps and rimusic.
For a little while.
I really wish there was a personal finance community on Lemmy. Then reading that would be a good lpt.
You’re supposed to learn how to check back in a few decades instead of hours.

Knipex ♥️
I’ve been in one, too. I’m not fond of tight spaces either, but that didn’t seem bad. I really dislike boats and water, too, but it was still nice. Beautiful places.
I can think of one nightmare. It evolved into a mgs/silent hill mashup of a sort with me sneaking around corridors and hearing slow footsteps dragging something.
When it got to the sound being right behind a door, I somehow noped out and woke up. In hindsight it might have been interesting to see more.
Most others, no way in hell.
It’s when you apply for a better position and get hired. Almost always in a different company. Or a company you left earlier.
Yes. My usual version of this is “You’re not special. If they lied to someone else, they’ll lie to you.”
Also not recommended while using power tools.
All the time I have spent not doing it. Those are the better days.
Read that as contraception.
Either way, probably some post rock or blues or cool jazz or something.
