well it’s too late for that, as I’m already isolated, so again – hopefully I will soon be better at being happy with little to be happy about.

that’s unfortunate, as I don’t really have any close friends I’d say I trust or could count on for more than thoughts and prayers. oh well.

sometimes that’s just how it is.

the entire reason I switched to Linux – back in January I asked myself “if I have to fight my operating system to make it work right for me anyways, why pay for the privilege?”

like sure updates break things on Linux too occasionally but at least they don’t reinstall spyware I had to spend a day ripping out after the last update.

Perhaps every other night you can cook from scratch, and cook as she likes on other days. Or, you could try to replicate the flavors she’s looking for in your cooking. Involve her, have her try tasting some sauce you’re making or whathaveyou and then try to see if you can nudge the flavors in a direction she likes.

literally have not had to skip a youtube ad in years, because I use ReVanced and AdNauseam like a sane person.

I’m going to be sad when YouTube dies, and all that collective knowledge and content either goes poof or is haphazardly, incompletely transferred to some “new thing”, whenever that is – but I won’t be that sad.

I’m still in the process of letting mine die (hope is a stubborn thing), but sometimes you need to accept your lot in life. Not everyone gets to do everything they want to.

now, I just don’t know what else to dream for instead. As it is, I’m just existing and waiting to die.

Personally quite a fan of the idea of making my own pistol (or, well, some of it) in the comfort of my own home, but far too poor to get a 3d printer that’ll actually do a good job.
