Anything along the lines of Civ, Stellaris. I have no self control with that type of game. It’s the only type of game where I could go hours skipping everything healthy for the body.
Oh, I agree. I was commenting on how people claim “pyramids! aliens!” and somehow that feels more feasible than us piling rocks up. Probably didn’t phrase that clearly enough
Some people think, all that? Less absurd than the notion that humans built the pyramids themselves
Oof. I’ve definitely seen some of those threads. I didn’t connect the dots though. Too naïve to consider that someone would do that
Along with all the great answers being supplied about what to do to be out there in the world, what you are proposing can’t be overstated; I would make explicit in that to take an ongoing frank look at how you show up in life
Idk about OP here, but with so many similar posts I notice, for instance, people who basically blame others, or wallow in a woe is me attitude, all the while putting down any suggestions floated their way. We are the common denominator in our own lives. Learning to be honest about our role in things is crucial
Agreed. Moved from kbin to fedia.io and it has been smooth so far. I hope they continue to evolve the format though
Don’t believe random people on the internet! Get a hammer or a tall ledge and find out yourself
If you don’t want to work on the things under your control, how is it unfair?
Look @Don_Dickle@lemmy.world he’s trying to be your friend. Just say yes
Either of them, honestly
afaik she’s expressed a disinterest

I think this might read as a little tone deaf to the economic reality of many people.
Also mechanics are often in semi-industrial areas where the most community you’ll get is a homeless encampment and maybe a taco truck
What do you find is the advantage of these over a mouse?
Adding to Fallout New Vegas, which others have mentioned, Skyrim. I got into modding but then sold my Xbox and haven’t yet gotten into the fuller glory of modding it on PC. And, anyhow, I don’t really think of it as a game to finish, just a game to play.
Also haven’t completed BG3 despite liking it. I suffer in games what I suffer in life: the desire to experience it all and not close any options. Which is to say, I struggle with the reality of consequences and so avoid choices and commitments
It’s integrated into the steering wheel, right?
Along the same lines, I’ve been reading short SF stories here to get away from social media: https://www.freesfonline.net/NewAdditions.html
Whenever you write something like that, you are training it to be true
