I used to have a similar problem - even if well reviewed, budget and midrange bluetooth earbuds would not last while budget-midrange wired earphones would last forever.

Think it’s just build quality for bluetooth buds. I got a set of Galaxy buds, 1st gen, roughly 3+ years and still running strong to this day. Was not cheap though.

If the hardworking coworker secretly resents you, she’d be unlikely to be sharing this with you too at least. I used to have a similar situation, over time I opted to work harder with the hardworking one and just laugh off his bitching, somehow the three of us managed to get along in the end with minor backroom complaints. Dude just wanted to vent so only pushing back gently when the complaints got silly worked well. The slower worker just wasn’t a problem even if it felt tense between her and the dude.

My guess is strong language like ‘mind break’ and ‘shatter’ imply a leading question. Sex and gender transition are sensitive topics - with the use of suggestive language - it can look like an anti-trans dog whistle in an uncharitable state of mind

If your gender was very important to your values and identity then there would be a significant psychological impact in ‘rediscovering’ yourself

But if your biological sex was the only change, I believe most people would adapt (could be happier or unhappier, but they would adapt). With improved empathy for the opposite sex, too
