I have a plan to make the switch to Linux. For now I was just looking for any feedback on how to handle current Windows OS.

I would recommend moving to win 10 in the meantime. Much easier to avoid a lot of the nonsense than on 11.

It’s such a lazy bitch move to blanket block vpn users. For anyone intent on causing meaningful harm it’s trivial to bypass, so the only ones really impacted are the innocent mass of privacy minded people. Unnecessary hassle for people doing nothing wrong.

Recently started learning NixOS and seems like it’s going to be ridiculously awesome! Documentation doesn’t look to be great in a lot of areas though unfortunately, so might be a while before I really figure shit out.

Since it hasn’t been mentioned yet, NoScript imo. Some sites run an absolutely absurd amount of scripts and the majority are not required for the site to function. So at best, there’s no value from letting them run.
