Whoa I’m a stickler for getting as much as I can out but even I have .zshenv and some other too hard to figure out things in there. How’d you manage a total wipeout?
Tbf I think OP is also mixing up VS and VSCode because the dart/flutter recommended setup is all based on VSCode and VSCode extensions.

Probably just wanted a higher number than windows or didn’t want to get leapfrogged. Also makes more sense with iOS having a similar schedule.
No they ditched OSX and yearly point updates in 2020 and went from Mac OSX 10.15.7 to MacOS 11.0
The next yearly release was MacOS 12.

There are tools like sshfs that let you mount remote directories as if they’re local. Most of the time I tend to use nnn with some of the little extra bits you can find in the docs like cd to last directory on quit and multi-colored tabs etc.
Couldn’t figure out how to access my headless server’s desktop environment via VNC without a monitor connected and turned on. I bought a hardware displayport dummy adapter to pretend to be a real display to get it to work.
A hardware solution to a software problem… felt really wrong.
I’ve since wrapped my head around tmux and managing all my services via command-line or web-ui so I have no need for it anymore.
