They have a mat, on a mat, on a carpet…
This is why I suck at interior design. It all seems so asinine to me.

I figure if you’re not aware of the stupid “pranks” influencers are pulling on youtube, you just don’t visit, and that’s probably in your best interest.
Continue to stay away from youtube. It’s a dark place.
I was pretty sure it was gonna be a shit show as soon as the election results came in, but the fact the dumbass lied so obviously and pathetically only hours into his term really ironed in how fucked the next four years were gonna be.
Pretty sure they mean cover as in like a roof.
This is a good recommendation. I went into the movie thinking it would be silent. Was kind of disappointed that it wasn’t, tbh.
An image people won’t believe wasn’t machine generated in 5 years.
When I was younger, palmpilots and blackberrys were the coolest things to me. Something that was basically a computer you could carry in your pocket? I wanted one so bad! And now basically everyone has something even better. Funny how things change.
The subtitles are perfect.
It’s always a laugh to see users like this. Nothing like joining an established group and then whinging about how “toxic” it is when they get rebuffed for repeatedly breaking the given rules.
Also they’re trying to prevent burnout maybe.
I dunno about everyone else, but a rotating shift like that would destroy me. A locked in schedule, even overnight, would be infinitely better for preventing burnout for me.
This is all personal opinion. Sometimes music just doesn’t click for some people and that’s alright.
The SP was so great. Never even bothered with the og GBA. I miss mine.
What an astounding gathering of terrible takes.
Unfortunately blocking an instance only blocks posts on that instance, not users from it, which is the main issue people have with those instances.
Seems like the exact sort of situation user side instance blocking is great for.
To clarify, this is not Fedi-NFTs, right? Just collaborative art/game stuff?
The first one is definitely an issue, but I struggle to think of a good solution to it that wouldn’t subvert the point of federation in the first place. Not sure if it’s a necessary evil, exactly, but we’re really still in the early days of the tech. Time will tell if it’s solvable.
The second one is more an issue with users. Ideally, while there may be “too many” communities for one topic, they would consolidate over time to a handful or even just one. And while it’s worth noting that the nature of federation on Lemmy can isolate communities and instances, it’s also a solvable issue on the part of users and admins, it just takes work on their part.
If it were contained in some way, that would make sense to me, but it’s free to roam as far as I can see. As for the hay mat, that still seems strange to me, but fair enough.
