Shoot Arch Duke Ferdinand. Few people even now about it today, but he was subject to a horribly mangled assassination attempt that many scholars belive would have set off a major war in Europe had he died.
What if the cause is a chronic disease or just old age?
Might be funny to get within 50 meters of an execution and bring the person back.
Could probably use this to start a cult.
Worst case is get caught by a billionare who starts mass killing people for me to heal to maximize the odds his life is extended.
Put it on the shelf with the other one
Only Cybertrucks, since vandalizing those can only improve the vehicle.
I’m old enough to realize most everything will either need to be replaced or given up as lifestyles change, but young enough not to count random stuff I happen to have.
Some really precious things I’ll keep forever, but don’t really use.
Just looking around the house and thinking, will I have any of this in my last years is sobering.
That said there are a few knickknacks I’m likely to keep since they are small and easy to keep up with. Maybe my collection of old Christmas albums. A few ornaments. A few Keychain. Deploymas…

Crazy answer: The moon to 1969. Imagine, Apollo 11 launches to land on the moon then suddenly a second one appears in space orbiting opposite the original.
Less crazy but still far reaching: a tazer to the theater the night of the Lincoln assassination. I wonder how different the U.S. would be if Lincoln had survived and the resonstruction period gone differently.
Somewhat more plasuable: enough documentation and evidence to convince someone high up in U.S. intelligence in 2000 that I am a time traveler then everything we have on the world trade center attack. I’m curious how different things would be if that had failed. Maybe bush only gets one term and the whole U.S. political situation shifts for the better. Maybe a less destabilized middle east avoids the worst of ISIS and with fewer syrian refugees, right wingers in Europe are less successful, Brexit fails, and Russia declines to invade Ukraine.
That or maybe politics Friday when those posts are allowed?
When, given a choice between doing something fun and something necessary that can be easily put off, you default to doing the necessary.
4′33″. I hate that melody and would rather just listen to silence.
Volcanos being caused by overpopulation in hell.
Changes could have so many repercussions even well meaning actions could make things worse. The safer bet would be to collect lost books and art.
That said, stopping the Lincoln assassination is tempting. I’d hope to change reconstruction to better wipe out the confederacy, prevent lost cause doctrine, and better integrate former slaves into full citizenship and society.
VR - It has been through a few hype cycles, but never quite makes it. Cost, weight, battery life (or tethers), lack of highly desirable games, required floor space, nausea (in some people), etc.
Starlink - when announced it sounded like the solution to ISP monopolies and rural broadband access. But the roll out was so slow that other solutions have caught up. For people with no option other than satellite internet, it is still great (if they can get it) but for a lot of people, better options now exist.
Hot dog buns. In my opinion, the generic, white, store brand buns make the best hot dogs.
Instant karma. Weighted based on intent. E.g. If CEO cuts benefits to improve his stock value, then his balls explode. If a driver accidentally cuts someone off but feels bad about it, a full mosquito hits the windshield.
Coke zero > pibb zero > dr pepper zero > diet coke >>> diet Pepsi
I’m on the last day of a business trip and seem to be deep in Pepsi territory (first time I’ve ever even seen Starry.) Diet Pepsi is OK, but I’m hoping there is a coke vending machine on the other side of airport security at this small airport.
