Not sure if you know, but there is an app called gadgetbridge, open source that can interface with many wearable devices including pebble. I use it with an amazfit bip and it works very well. You should give it a try.

You know what didn’t die yet? My 8 year old earbuds that have a wire and plugs into the jack. And guess what, I don’t even have to charge them or worry about losing one of them.
Fuck wireless headphones.
That may be the case for you, but it’s still widely used for mobile card payment terminals, gps trackers, alarm systems and likely other applications that don’t require a lot of data but do require strong signal and reliability
You mean a tiling one, right? :|
There are phones that output analog audio over type C so you can have a type c to jack adapter with no dac inside, just wires. That is possible through Audio Adapter Accessory Alternate Mode.
My huawei tablet works with such an adapter, but when I try it with the samsung s10e which has a jack, it gives an error and doesn’t work.
Type C alternate modes are cool, too bad they are not advertised, they should be clearly labled and easily distinguishable. Type C has so many features yet it’s so hard to know what’s available without actually having the devices and connecting them. It’s both a blessing and a curse.
Yup, as long as the pics are on screen, the scrolling is laggy. I guess it’s loading the full size pics rather than shrinked down versions.
F-droid, too bad it can’t be found on play store. Google wouldn’t shoot themselves in the foot like that
Exactly. At the end of the day, naming is not that relevant as long as it conveys the message of what the app does. It only gets confusing when you have a bunch of apps doing the same thing
