I love telling my phone to turn off my lights in bed, or changing the color of my lights with a simple command. It’s super handy and I’m never going back.

Sorry, unrelated, but my Lemmy client says that you have “-1” downvotes and 49 upvotes. How is that even possible? It should only be a positive integer. On the web client, it shows nothing for downvotes, but says 48 upvotes instead of 49…
If it’s made in flutter, doesn’t that mean you easily publish it to the iOS App Store? Isn’t the main point of flutter to publish to both iOS and Android?
I’m a nerdy hippie! I love video games and random facts, but I’ll talk for hours about psychedelics and go to music festivals and talk about how opening it is. I play percussion, but it feeds into the hippie vibe I try to convey. :)
I still need to put in the work to sub to all the alternatives. I had hundreds of subs and my front page was so curated. But now on Lemmy, I tried Hot for new/fresh content, but I have to browse Active most of the time due to the amount of just single up vote posts on Hot.
I just wish we had more people. I’m doing my part of being active though!
Huh? Use the remote app on your phone. It automatically pops up like a notification when there’s a text box on the screen. So easy. You can turn the box off by holding the power button for a few seconds. To close apps, you double tap the TV button and then it’s an iOS like interface that you scroll over and swipe up on the ones you want to close.
The UI is very minimal and the same across most all apps, so it’s easy to learn and use. It may be missing some power features, but most things are accessed via clicking of just holding.
Veritasium is in the same vein.
What helped me quit was a manicure. Spending $40+ on my nails helped me not want to bite them. By the time the gel chipped off, I broke the habit, so I didn’t go back. I still pick off hangnails and the uneven structure, but having a file next to my desk at all times helps with that. I also have a cheat nail where I mess it up if I need to.
I use Apple Music, but my top artist was AJR. 14 of my top 15 songs were by them. Over half my listening time. Their just resonate with my life right now, and I can’t get enough.
My second my played was Snails House. I love the bops they put out!
Oooo. Thanks! I knew there was an internal one like that. I’ll check it out, and hopefully it works easily for uploading to fflogs.
Exactly. I have my setup just the way I like it for final fantasy. ACT (a packet capturing DPS meter) doesn’t work without windows. Once that’s supported I may hop ship.
I got a 12TB HDD for the same reason this year. Finally sailing the seas again and got my parents on it with overseerr. Very easy for older gen X to use.
I like that you bring up Android. I went with Apple forever ago and kept in the ecosystem as I got my software engineering degree, and still am fully into the Apple ecosystem. I spend my days debugging things for work. I don’t want to spend my nights tinkering with my phone as much. I want it to just work.
I used to jailbreak for that freedom. Now, I have other things to worry about and just want my phone to be reliable and safe.
Ahhh. I see. Yea, just make all the receptacles the same! Hue is nice in that the bridge doesn’t need to connect to the internet to communicate with the devices, and the lights only go through the same bridge.
