Maybe tomorrow I’ll want to settle down, until tomorrow I’ll just keep moving on.
I was going to say this.
Instead I’ll say: 48k ZX tape noises and Ace of Aces. Betamax. Not answering the phone as we’re having dinner.
And manic miner! Damn that game was brutal.
Spot on if it has regen braking. I haven’t had to change brake discs/shoes for 5 years.
This is an exceptional write up, thanks!
I started with Mint and it was very simple to set up. I don’t really like the DE though (personal preference, I’ve used OSX for over 10 years). From your description it sounds like I can change Cinnamon to something else - is this fairly straightforward to do?
I’m looking to use the machine as a photo processing platform (from film and digital) and finding alternatives to Adobe products like Lightroom and Photoshop… with a view to ultimately having a NAS and cloud backup once I get to it.
Wondering how many innocently share this and send ‘bubblyqueefs’ to everyone.
Linux Musk Cinnamon. Yours for a modest subscription.
This stinks of panic MVP.
You can?!
I’m trying this. Thanks.
Male. Lack of emotional intimacy from anyone. Really difficult making proper, deep friendships. Resultant chronic loneliness. Pressure (ingrained since birth) to stifle emotions, stiff upper lip etc. Trying not to pass this bullshit down to my son.
Mint Cinnamon was very straightforward for (a not very technical) me on a 2016 MacBook Air v7! Dual boot was a tiny bit trickier, but it’s given an old machine a new lease of life. Highly recommend.
No heavy petting please.
A year?! Hah. Well if this is what you’re doing in your first year then this is excellent. Get some formal training or join a club with some pros if you haven’t already.
Nice. I’d be v proud of that shot if I were you.
Edit: Having just taken a look at the other photos you’ve posted, I have to say, you have a very good eye for light and composition. I mean, you clearly live somewhere with lots of amazing subjects/views, but also a lot of talent. Some of those shots could be sold in a gallery.
Beautiful. What’s the setup? Digital or analog?
I went from £400 a month fuel spend to just over £100 going to hybrid. My insurance came down from £700ish to £450 p/y (all the anti collision toys etc). The services were 4-600 a year now 250-300. It’s been 4 1/2 years and I’m keeping it. It cost me about 10k more than I’d normally pay for a car and I reckon I’ve made my money back and then some. That anti collision stuff has also saved my arse a couple of times.
Sorry forgot to say: Posh Toyota.
Pre brain injury, and post brain Ingush.
But seriously. Wear a crash helmet folks. Saved my life.
