Definitely sounds like it could be real. If I had to guess their mounting a drive (or another partition) and it’s defaulting to read only. When restarting it resets the original permissions as they only updated the file permissions, but not the mount configuration.
Also reads like some of my frustrations when first getting into Linux (and the issues I occasionally run into still).
This is what I was going to say.
While always mentioned when talking about the psp library, I definitely think it’s really a hidden gem for the larger gaming community.
After playing Jeanne D’arc most trpgs feel underwheing.
Upvote for 40 puzzles, great game(s)!!
Not sure if actually dating or not, but at least joked about the being a couple - https://www.scmp.com/sport/paris-olympics-2024/china/article/3272185/chinese-olympic-gold-medal-winners-pose-sparks-social-media-jokes-about-relationship
Halo 1-3, both the single player story and the evolution of the multi-player.
If you’re talking about the US, they certainly aren’t punching hard enough then. Trump is an extremist and basically leading right wing politics.
Haha, thanks! I always mess those words up.
Additionally, and probably most importantly, Luke actually isn’t strong enough to defeat the emperor at the end. He losses. However, he wins over his father and that’s what turns the tide.
Similarly, while Anikan has some mary sue moments, he has a far share of losses (chase for Padme’s would be assassin, count doku fight, Obi-Wan fight, etc.)
I think the only time Rey “losses” a battle is in force awakens when she gets captured (but even after being captured she overpowers Ben almost immediately).
App stores and game engines are examples where you are paying a percentage of revenue. Not that it makes this scenario make any more sense, but there are models out there that operate this way. However, in both you are working in pretty locked down environments.
I’ve used Ubooquity on and off for this. It has some nice features, but isn’t open source.
I get your point. I don’t know about OP, but I hadn’t seen a similar thread, but I usually browse all so easily miss posts for specific communities.
Also, I’ve found search on Lemmy hit or miss. The federation aspect of everything makes search sometimes difficult or confusing. For example, what community would most likely have already provided an ELI5 post and how would it have been phrased?
Not OP, but the point of asking for an ELI5 is that sometimes you don’t even know where to start. For example I clicked the link you provided and only have more questions as I don’t really know what people mean by display servers, etc.
Sure I could look everything up and try to understand, but the hope is someone in the community might provide a better or faster summary than what can currently be found online.
Yeah @mrbusiness had me a bit worried, but it looks like you’re right, if there is a third movie it will be all or part of Messiah. At least according to this interview - https://www.polygon.com/23712612/dune-how-many-parts-movies-sequels-messiah
Did you read the books? Having read the books it was a blast for me, but those sound like fair criticisms if you aren’t already familiar with the source material (which isnt a good thing for a movie to do, it should be able to stand on its own).
There is also Melvor Idle, an idle version of Runescape.
Miracle Sudoku is also the best sudoku app ever. Incredibly difficult but extremely rewarding when you solve one.
Peglin is a great peggle rouglites with some decent replayability. It’s a port of a pc game so you can check out reviews on steam - https://store.steampowered.com/app/1296610/Peglin/
It’s hard to tell what part of the compose is erroring out, and I can’t test it currently, but is the error for the MariaDB password or the WordPress password (set with WORDPRESS_PASSWORD)?
The download feature is always in some state of broken, but it has gotten a lot better over the past couple of years. If you haven’t tried it in a year or so, you may have better luck now.
