I love Sheriff, even if I’m terrible at it lol.
Other favorites in our group are Coup, Resistance, and for really big groups we play Two Rooms and a Boom.

I played a game called Mindtrap as a kid, it was a box of different cards with puzzles on them.
The actual game is you played on teams to answer these riddles, but I just looked at the cards and tried solving them. I think they revamped it more recently.
I was personally on the fence anyway, but I really appreciate your work and explanation for decisions. You don’t have to do that but it means a lot!
Hell yeah, I love DCC!
I read (listened) to it for the first time last year. The audiobooks I had sounded like they were ripped from cassette, it was AWFUL.
I ended up getting the ebooks and read the first trilogy after stopping halfway through the first audiobook.
My wife loved them when they were new and had been asking me to read them for awhile, but I was kinda disappointed in them. Really interesting magic system, I just felt like the writing was too simplistic.
Also, your uncle inhabiting your body to have sex with someone was a pretty wild thing to read.
It’s definitely just those kids and super old folks, I don’t really know any in-between
I must be in a weird spot because I know 3 different Evelyns under the age of 8.
Wow another Okie!
Crazy storms in the Tulsa area for us btw. And probably why I also see Harris Walz signs. We’re about to get a Democrat for a mayor!
This sounds amazing tbh, I’m pretty jealous
Still in Early Access, but wishlist/try Mind Over Magic. Same devs and it’s awesome. They plan on the 1.0 release in January I think?
It has the same feel for scheduling/prioritization, though toned down from Oxygen Not Included IMHO.
Boundaries by Henry Cloud and John Townsend. Helps you understand how to set boundaries at work and general relationships, helped me as someone who’s a pretty big people pleaser.
Read it years ago when I was religious and it does have a Christian tone but it’s not overt or excessive. Looks like they re-released it recently.
I know a few people that never bought any other games for their Wii.
Amazed no one else has mentioned The Fifth Element. It was planned at one point I think but got cancelled.
Random, but I got my first tattoo on the inside of my forearm and my wife loves it because she can see it while I drive. I got it before I even met her, but it worked out in my favor lol.
Definitely pick a spot based on the tattoo you want. Mine fit best horizontally because it’s clipped from a Calvin & Hobbes panel. Like others have mentioned, if you’re shy about having one, consider something easily covered vs somewhere less painful.
I’ve tried several boxes, even bought a couple of their fancy iridescent spoons!
IMHO the cereal is okay, but I love the spoons lol
I used to work at Geek Squad, and pranks are sorta ingrained into the culture. As a bit of background, our job title was “CIA”, for Counter Intelligence Agent (as in, the “front counter” of the store). Definitely ran by nerds.
Anyway, when you get your CIA badge (literal medal badge, dubbed a “shield”), there’s typically a ceremony, it gets presented, it’s like a badge of honor, no pun intended. So when someone got theirs, I put it in orange jello. This guy had regularly yoinked other people’s badges and would take random photos with them, it was good fun and harmless.
Years ago I did this to my boss, and printed out the “troll” face from rage comics. Had the satisfaction of watching him move the mouse around, get confused, pick up the mouse to look at it, see his shoulders slump and shake his head.
Just the smallest, dumbest thing, but I remember it 10 years later.
Holy crap Armadillo Run! I had totally forgotten about this game, someone had it on a flash drive in my physics class and we all got a copy and played it.
