I’d say most people do, my only zero ratios are from IA
“To look at people in capitalist society and conclude that human nature is egoism is like looking at people in a factory where pollution is destroying their lungs and saying that it is human nature to cough”

I’d say most people do, my only zero ratios are from IA

it’s the Disney+ jammed in there
simply replace it with “Disney’s” and it makes more sense.

m-discs have a conservative lifespan of 100 years

if I outlive an m-disc I probably didn’t need the data on it anyway

The price of ownership is maintenance.
Prices keep rising because people will pay ANY price to avoid personal responsibility.

hey, I didn’t memorize my NT key for nothing

I wouldn’t trust modern e-waste as far as I could throw it.
do you NEED a terrestrial receiver?

“Rich can be cured by a weekend in Vegas. Wealth is terminal.”

Ah, the common clay of the new Web

That’s not how capitalism works though

Plex wants us to log into their servers to watch content we’re hosting ourselves.
I hate Plex as much as the next Jellyfin user but you can just whitelist your local network, although people who understand that aren’t the target audience are they? …

I would buy a G5 every few years until the end of time if they still made them. Profit clearly isn’t the driving motivator of the post capitalist world we inhabit.
And what exactly will you replace your logitech stuff with? they’re all going down this path now.
honestly if they still make the only mice that don’t look like a gaming router they might still have me … on the second hand market at least.

Talk to e-waste recyclers and see if they have contact details for anyone buying their office PCs. Businesses don’t give a fuck, these things are going straight in the bin.
You could attempt to buy from them directly but there’s a solid chance they already have someone buying in bulk and don’t want to sell single items to the public.

Driving a car is only dangerous when you die in a traffic accident.
your logic doesn’t check out.

qBittorrent has an inbuilt torrent search function that can search multiple sites from inside the client. you should honestly never need to go to a website, download torrent files, or open magnet links, ever.
if you can host Jackett it really broadens your search options but isn’t necessary.
if you decide to host Jackett think about also hosting qBittorrent at the same time since you’re already setting up self hosting stuff it’s not anymore difficult and the webUI is super convenient.
at least you have the songs.
I did a similar thing with very, very, low quality DI shows I ripped with winamp over 56k.

reminds me of the dude with a PDP 11 in his basement
I literally only ever open these threads for the cope.
