Had the same issue for my nvidia 4060. I just installed a kernel manually which allowed me to run a new enough driver.

Not necessarily. I’ve seen failures like this if the boot partition works, but fails to mount the root partition. systemd then fails to proceed, and shuts down the running services.
Not without mounting its root partition on the failing harddrive
I wonder if they’ll ever catch up to The Land Before Time. Hell, I’d pay to watch a crossover: Megalodonado
Agreed. While I tend to disagree with most of the viewpoints coming from lemmygrad, at least the content is posted with benign intent. The room might stink, but nobody intentionally shat on the floor.

If I remember correctly, a sequel has been in development hell for years.
I finally have the time and money to start on my PPL-A license. I only have a few hours logged, but I’m getting there eventually.
Create a linux mint install USB. When you boot from it, you’ll be in a fully functional linux OS, without installing anything. This way you can try it out before making a commitment.
Although a recurring recommendation is to install linux on a second PC to try it for a while.
I support it in principle, but I prefer to install from scratch as I’m picky when it comes to partition schemas and filesystems.

Any mod would want to do their due diligence to not make their users look like a bunch of lunatics.
I’m afraid that ship sailed long before OP entered the chat.

Yes. But I did happen to stumble across its Denizen line about a year ago when I was in the US and in a Target. I really liked them, so upon another visit this summer I bought three additional (identical) ones, as I’ve not seen them here in europe.
I am the least fashionable person in existence, and I 100% prefer function over form. And the Denizen is by far the most comfortable jeans I’ve ever owned.
Fortreffelig.
(Yup, that was spot on. Alternatively “Hvordan går det”)
Linux user of 20ish years here. I run Mint with cinnamon on my desktop PC - sometimes I just want stuff to work out of the box.
