Depends. If I’m stretching and all that, and my mouth is on the way, I’ll cover just got the sake of holding the position. If I’m sitting back all comfy, or using my hands, not happening.

You haven’t seen the latest chatGPT update?
A while back, I was a big fan of the lemonade flavored Trulys (alcoholic seltzer). I started stacking empty cans on my desk, letting them accumulate for a couple days, until eventually the desk would get bumped and the tower would fall.
After a while, I started hot gluing the cans together.
Long story short, I have a five layer pyramid of lemonade Trulys atop the shelving unit in the front room. I forget it’s there, but people usually ask about it within the first 15 minutes of coming over for the first time.
First thing to do is open the door.
Yup. And nobody but their customers will buy (since it’s $150 for a $100 card) so they don’t have to worry about buying a card to send a real customer to look legit.
Very late to this. But! If anyone tries to call you on having the same last name and address, depending on the service, you might get away with saying you got a divorce, and whoever was on the old account has moved out 😅
If you’re into heavier stuff, Christian metal is generally really fucking good.
As is the theme of the thread, a lot of these bands don’t consider themselves “Christian bands”, but hey.
August Burns Red - pretty popular, their music has a wide variety of influences in terms of sound but every album but their very first is very solid and consistent imo. Their drums and breakdowns kick ass; listen to “Defender” and “Bloodletter”.
Devil Wears Prada - also relatively popular, their style changed a little bit in the more recent years but there are songs on almost every album of theirs that I enjoy. “Sassafras” is a good older song, “Salt” is a good new one.
Silent Planet - probably the most thought out and intentional lyrics you’ll find in metal. A majority of their songs include footnotes to every line, indicating what historical event, biblical passage, or other artist’s work they’re referencing. “Panic Room” and “Northern Fires” are great examples of their sound and message.
having your body suddenly stop giving you a hall pass.
Great way to put it. I’m close to OPs age, and while I won’t say I’m “falling apart” to the extent they are, things definitely are starting to have consequences. Sleep deprivation was the most shocking; used to be able to get 4-6 hours of sleep for several consecutive days of activity, then sleep on over the weekend and be completely fine. Now, if I get less than 7, chances are pretty good that I’m not gonna have a great day tomorrow.
I’m still running my 1080 (non-TI), I’ve wanted to upgrade since the 30x0 series but couldn’t justify the cost… Definitely not gonna get any better.
I don’t think people should downvote without explaining, but the suggestion of having them sleep in separate rooms is a little ridiculous if they’re already having sex.
Trust me, as someone who’s parents did the same thing, the only thing it will accomplish is pissing everyone off (the teens because they’re being treated like kids, the parents because they suspect something is happening regardless of what is). Either give them “the talk” and let them make decisions like adults, or decide they are still children and don’t let her stay over.
And we all know what science says: if you can’t see something, it isn’t there!
I’ve a sweet tooth and like a bit of honey in my tea. So, I put a dab of honey in the cup while the kettle goes, then pour the boiling water in, and use one of those little electric milk frothers to stir it up thoroughly. While the water is still spinning, I toss the tea bag in, and throw the lid on the cup to let it steep for however long.
Water foaming when heated is caused by impurities in the water rather than the heating mechanism. So whatever is causing your water to foam is in it either way
It would only be able to heat the tea to above 100C if that point of zero nucleation remained undisturbed, and the tea held directly within it; in other words, it’s not possible.
Assuming there’s an amount of water within the cup that is above 100C, while the rest is at or below 100C. As soon as you grab the cup out of the microwave, the water will start to slosh around in the cup, equalizing the temperature. If there are any major hot spots remaining, they will be well below 100C, and almost completely equalized when the tea bag is added.
They are, in my opinion, the least comfortable to wear. I’m a skinny guy, so my issues may be me-specific, but there is nothing keeping the legs down, or anything to keep your goods in place. So every time I tried wearing these, I’d end up with the legs ridden all the way up, cargo completely unsecure in my jeans.
Unbothered is the last vibe I feel in them 😅
How are they waking you up, and what have you tried to mitigate the issue?
What forced you to have a bad sleep schedule?
Yeah, I used to tell myself “I’ll stop scrolling at page x”
Of course it never happened but at least I could pretend.
