I, for one, hate the way PC gamer culture has normalized hardware obsolescence. Your hobby is just for fun, you don’t really need to gobble up so much power and rare Earth minerals and ever-thinner wafers all to just throw away parts every six months.
I have plenty of fun playing ascii roguelikes and I do not respect high performance gaming. It’s a conservationist nightmare.

Bushnell’s sacrifice was so fucking brave and should be honored, which is why PFLP and Hamas both made statements of support. It’s the highest form of protest and the only single act of protest that has ever accomplished anything in history. How dare you say his sacrifice was in vain?
That’s not a suggestion. That’s a fact. No other protest will ever matter the way this does. Rest in power Aaron Bushnell.

Whatever. The phrase “Christmas is cancelled” forced me to remember the fact that Christmas is literally cancelled in Bethlehem, with the articles about it often directly saying the phrase “Christmas is cancelled”
I was struck by how petty and small this whiney video is when compared to places where Christmas is literally cancelled.
The vast majority of Americans don’t even know that ‘merriment’ is a word. They just know you’re supposed to say ‘Merry Christmas.’ That’s it.
Christmas is canceled in Bethlehem because of the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
