They’re also doing the same thing with Google Play - arguing that collecting user emails for osm login doesn’t count as collecting data.
Voice control for activities will no longer be available on Fitbit Sense and Versa 3 devices. You’ll need to use the buttons on your device to start, stop, pause, and resume activities. You can still voice control activities on Pixel Watches.
Wow. Removing an existing feature from an older and cheaper device and leaving it only on the newer, more expensive device?
Yup. We had one but after we had a smouldering fire in our outdoor trash can we got several for different points in the house. We also have escape ladders in the bedrooms.
I love Tidal + Plex. I already had a Plex server set up, but the integration with tidal is great. Good music quality, pays the artists well, and no gaps in the library that aren’t also there in the other services. When you add Plex you can then fill in those gaps with your own music files.
If anything it is dangerous as it will still exit even if changes cannot be saved.
You can’t just install an arbitrary Linux distro on an Android tablet.
If you want to run Linux, buy something like the Juno or Librem tablets.
I moved to Tidal + Plex. Loving it so far.
Ha yeah I run openSUSE on my laptop and Debian on my server.
Maybe I’m old but I’m really getting annoyed with apps becoming so bloated with features. The podcast integration was part of why I left Spotify. I was tired of having podcasts pop up on my home screen. Tidal luckily is free from this for the moment.
“Do one thing and do it well.”
You said disaster movie, not scientifically accurate documentary.
If we’re going “so bad it’s good” I’ll give you The Core.
Don’t be afraid to customize your install with YaST. You can add/remove packages before you do the installation.
You’ll need packman if you need restricted codecs for video.
Update with zypper dup
as a general rule.
Since you’re talking about city travel, do you care about traffic? That has been my main issue with any alternatives.
Yeah my Shield TV is on 1.68 and it works so I guess it’s not the specific version. Still, the inconsistent performance is annoying. Not bad enough to get me to sell the speakers, but bad enough for me to not recommend them.
The issue is with different Cast firmware versions. The Nest Audio is at 2.57 and my Nest Hub is at 1.71. The CCwGTV is likely kept up to date with the Nest Audio.
I’m honestly getting a bit disillusioned with Cast. I replaced all my Sonos with Nest speakers because of the better voice assistant functionality. “Fully supported” services like YouTube Music (that can be integrated as your default music service) work fine. But when I’m trying to use Plex or Tidal I run into issues if I try to include things like my Nest Hub in a group or dynamically add/remove speakers from what’s playing.
Because it’s an excuse.
Google gets 100% of the revenue any time someone searches using Google. What’s being discussed here is the amount that Google gives device manufacturers for them to set Google as the default search engine.
I assume SSH is not exposed to the internet by default on openSUSE? I have not used SSH on my install so should I be safe if I just update?
